If it isn't Tyler Kolek we riot.
Kolek.
You mean the BEPOY?
Kolek
TKO.
It's Tyler, but we don't win if Kam doesn't suit up.
It's Tyko.
Yup. Kolek. The Nova defense made him beat them, and he did.
TK
TKO, with an honorable mention to Stevie, who impacted the game with his on-ball defense.
Tyler Kolek
Honorable Mention
Kameron Jones
Willis Reed Jones
Tyler was fantastic.
I was going to go with Kam but Tyler gets it with his play down the stretch. Thank goodness Kam was able to go because he was huge.
Tyler Kolek is the pick.

Voted the same way in the other thread. Kolek took over when it mattered.
Is there anyone smoother than Kam? He is just the coolest player. Unflappable.
Kolek was good, but Joplin broke their will.

Stevie made the biggest play of the entire game, but SOTG is a slam dunk for TK.

Cause his turnovers let them think they had a chance.

Per my source he didn't have a leg yesterday. Miraculous
Just a point, Tyler lead the team in scoring, rebounds, assists, and steals.
So, Jop for SOTG since TK couldn't even get a double double.
Honorable mention to the Fiserv crowd. Electric down the stretch.

Better check with Hop's brother, Panda. He'll agree.

Tossup between Tyler Kohler and Trent Kolek.
HM- MU training staff for getting Kam ready to play.

I think maybe Tyler. :)

UConn was the best of the year, but tonight was great, especially down the stretch.
Loved how Kolek did what needed to be done on a night we really needed him to do it.
Solid honorable mention for Kam for climbing off his deathbed, laughing at all the Eeyores, and making a lot of big plays.
Tyler Kolek. Just piling on at this point
I'm in the minority again, but for me it's Kameron Jones.
For one, if he doesn't play tonight Marquette loses imo.
I know the same could be said for TyKo but he wasn't in question.
Secondly, kind of the same argument I made for Jop but on a smaller level- I just think Kam made the bigger shots at the most important times.
That doesn't mean that Tyler wasn't great and didn't nail some massive threes, because he did, but...
The three to end the 1H was massive for the teams morale after a pretty abysmal 1H. Call it lucky if you want, but Kam didn't touch rim.
Then, in the 2H, he had that one layup under the hoop with complete control towards the end of the game when the team really needed a bucket
In the last 9 minutes of the game Kameron Jones has 10 of Marquettes 20 points, at a moment in time when the game was won.
Let not forget MU was down 4 at the under 8.
Of the other 10 points in the final 9 minutes all were free throws except for OMax "dunk."
That says all we need to know about Mr Jones, so glad he played.
TKO, went out and won it.

Ummmm TK had the huge bucket at the rim to go up 5. Then made the free throws to really ice it and go up 7
Loved that Kam played, and played well, and made some big buckets, and added a couple of real nice steals.
For that matter, our entire backcourt came through because Stevie really played well on D and hit a couple nice 3s.
But this isn't even close to being close.
Yes thanks for the correction.
Tyler had that big bucket at the hoop at the end when I was screaming at my tv for Shaka to call a timeout 😂

The crowd felt like a pot that just wouldn't boil. Every time we had a chance to take the lead, we came up short. Then Tyler finally hit the three to put us ahead and it boiled over.

It boiled over nicely when it had to.
The team fed off that energy and it was loud.
Kudos to those in the house

Agree with this. Once we finally got the lead, the building was plenty loud. It just took awhile to get there.
TKO.... Without a doubt.
TKO. Extremely studly strip by Stevie when it was badly needed though.

Jop
gotta be be MR T
showed a little extra "moxy" with some trash talk after that trey was it? giving one of their guys some jazz -gotta be extra careful there as the stripes will T ya up and that would've been extra disappointing...could've cost the T-man an SOTG
Jop
Can't believe I'm saying this, and I may have turned a corner here, I'm going Jop. He made an awesome pass in the first half for a three, made a huge three, and made two awesome defensive plays in the last few mins or so. He did things he doesn't normally do, and he did them at an elite level.
Tyler Kolek is having an incredible all BE and AA year.

Cracking the door. Takes some maturity to have a monster game, then not be as dialed in at the one thing you do well, not forcing things, and stepping up others. Credit where credit is due as it were.

7/4/1 in 21 minutes
or
20/5/6 in 37 minutes
Come on, guys, this one ain't close.
Well, Tyler Kolek couldn't get SOTG for a game that got him named Big East Player of the Week. So we don't have to give him this one either, I guess.
He deserves it, though. Steady throughout.
Lots of clutch plays by MU players to always stay close until we could grab the lead at the end.
But this one, have to say Tyler Kolek. Mr. Consistent and the glue of this team.
Joplin over Kolek last Saturday? Wrong, but at least somewhat debatable.
Joplin over Kolek yesterday? Laughable.
