Oso was great, and Chase's dunk was absurd.
But it's Kam.
Jop
Oso
That's a hard one between oso and Kam.
Kam was big in the first. Oso was huge in the 2nd. Split it! We have the technology now.
Kam barely over Oso.
Ross for Play of the Year
Kam. Oso was amazing but it is definitely Kam.
Kam
I said Jones in game thread, changed my mind to Ighodaro.
Would prefer halfsies for Kam and Oso.
Kam if I have to choose.

Kam. I also loved the pass to Oso for a dunk and 1 from Ross. That was a thing of beauty
Kameron Jones
Honorable Mention
Oso Igohodaro
Oso
Kam
Chase
KAM ! ! ! 8-)
Kameron Jones.
Oso was incredible.
Does this site do splits?
This is a hard one. Oso or Kam, no argument with either. If I HAD to pick, Oso.
Kam makes it two in a row!
Ross' dunk was the highlight.
KJ!!
Oso
The Zebra who missed the over and back. It was the dagger that killed the Pirates.
Kam got it started. Oso finished the deal.
Flip your coin.
Oso-consistent....
Oso. Almost as big defensively as on offense.
Kam & Oso were both outstanding today. Edge to Kam -- his threes were tougher shots than Oso's dunks.
Kam
Oso. Defense puts him over.
Oso
Kam a close 2nd
Oso good
Both are deserving but I think I gotta go Oso. He had 3 more rebounds, 2 more assists, 2 more blocks (they were equal on steals), and 4 less points but also went 7-7 from the field while Kam went 8-14. Like I said, either dude could win it and you couldn't complain but when I looked into the stats I gotta go Oso.

Yep. Need to award Defense today. Yet, Kam had a ton of deflections and three steals. Kam built the big lead in the 1st for Oso to finish it.
Kam did it in 30 minutes while Oso did it in 38 minutes.
I'll go with iggadory by Oso little over Kam.

Not that I am against Kam winning it but Oso had the same amount of steals, 2 blocks, more rebs and game changing defense.
Kam
K. Jones by a hair because he played really good defense today ibn addition to what he did offensively. Oso also had a really, really good game. But, I also want to congratulated Chase Ross on a very strong all around game. The dunk was amazing, but he played very well generally today.
My favorite Oso play was when he did the ol' D.J. Carton move on the fake handoff, spun to the baseline and jammed it for the and-1.

This was your favorite because you know ball
Oso also almost pulled a Kuath but the dunk(ish) somehow went in even though he lost control of the ball.
Odo - consistently led the way. Cam great too obviously.

Sorry but changelings are not allowed to win SOTG.

So close...Kam on rock paper scissors. Probably harsh on OI

Oh yeah. Sisko is the best Star Trek captain BTW.

Kam or Oso - flip a coin, both are deserving!
I'm with Lenny and others on this one. It is really a coin toss between Oso and Kam. Some of these games are too close to call and hope that continues.
Oso and Kam tied

11 for 13.
He had made his previous 7 coming in. He was 4-for-6 today. Of the 4 that went in, one was "lucky." The other 3 were swishes. He's shooting .667 in 10 Big East games -- not banner-worthy but also not putrid.
Kam was great as usual, but it was another masterpiece from Oso.
It's Oso. Statistically the best and his dunks broke the Pirates' will
Kam. Although it really was a team effort. Perhaps Shaka should be given the honor for his great coaching.
As been noted on here by several posters, Oso was a good free throw shooter last year and the start this season surprised me. It looks like his FT slump is over.
Oso by a nose over Kam, because Ndefo was a non-factor.

D'oh! Fixed mine. Can't speak for the others.
kam's 3's were back breakers...you could almost smell the beer/garlic breath from the crowd after each one...next game they will be handing out tic-tacs

Oso on Roshambo.
I'd go with Kam because he scored when it mattered -- and helped us sock away the Pirates.
Won't be heartbroken if it's Oso though. The guy is incredible and who would have ever thought he matured this much?
We saw flashes of this from Oso last year. Just like we saw flashes of this from Kam last year.
Oso made the pirates walk the plank.
The only correct answer is Oso.
Be lazy... keep kam's pics up.
Just edit a little text like opponent and stats.
Osasere translates to God is the greatest.
No doubt.
Oso again? I demand a recount!!!!!
Seriously, it is nice that so many of these games the SOTG isn't a no brainer, that multiple players have a major impact. Gotta love the multi dimensional, multi contributions.
Osasere player of the game.
Kameron Big East Player of the Week.
Therein lies the beauty of this years squad.

It's crazy that Kam is up to 5th in the big east poty on kenpom but has so few SotGs. It's a testament to how incredibly consistent he is to get poty consideration. Very few bad games but also very few pop offs. Or maybe it's just because kenpom doesn't measure defense as well and SotG voting takes Oso's defense into account.

Or maybe he was flipping off the mods in that sotg picture and they refuse to give him the deserved recognition.

Short answer: He prefers Oso
Longer answer: He goes by Oso ... In case you subscribe to the JS: https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/college/marquette/2019/09/19/get-know-2020-marquette-commit-oso-ighodaro/2369265001/
Commentary: His mother's name and sisters name can both be shortened to "Osa', so it makes sense he uses a more masculine variety.
