Well at least Kolek made the list. Definitely should be top 10 though.

WOOF

I was just going to start a thread on Kolek's plAce in college basketball.

I think that if MU finishes top 2 in the BE, we will reflect back on how silly this list is. Tyler will be on most AA teams - maybe 2nd or 3rd team.

Interested in others' thoughts.

BTW, I was not a TK guy at the beginning of the season.

I've been a Kolek guy from day one and his improvement this year is amazing. I'm not sure if he makes AA teams this year, but would have to be high on the list going into next year. I think first team all BE is almost given at this point.

Goose,
I know you have repeatedly hyped Kolek here - last year and this. Good call on your part.

Yeah I think TK would challenge for some honorable mentions.

My woof'ing at the list went beyond that though.

I mean they Walker and Hoggard on there at MSU but leave off Marcus Carr?!?!?!

I don't see TK getting All-American this year. He just doesn't have the scoring average. I think he's one of the truly elite PGs in the game and deserves it, I just don't see it happening. More likely he gets snubbed and it fuels his All-American run next year.

That's where I am at now. But I think it changes if MU gets into the Top 10 - 12 teams at the end of the year.

Let's just make sure the kid makes the All BE team, because he sure as hell deserves it.

But so might Oso...

And so might Kam...

There's only so many spots!

A lot of love from CBS-SN announcers during the Seton Hall game today for TKo.

The Athletic just issued their mid-season AA team voted on by its staff of college BB writers. 1st and 2nd teams plus 10 others who got votes.

Kolek was among the 10 others. As I said earlier, I expect his name to be mentioned a lot at the end of the year. Probably Honorable Mention, but if MU continues to play as they have been and end up in the Top 15, he may even make some 3rd teams.
