Not many. Great to see. To nitpick, too many threes, too willing to settle for them. The way our pick and roll was working, we should have taken half of what we did. DJ's wrist. Poor guy. Lazar's quick fouls and lack of production. That is about it. Everyone played with passion and energy and brains. Fitz went into the lane, everybody rebounded. What a joy to watch.
I will add FT shooting. Haven't looked at a box score to see what they actually shot, but this is becoming an increasing area of concern for me when March rolls around.

Word...Fitzy missed 2 FT's in a row...had a great defensive game though, but c'mon man, gotta hit those free throws.
will some one tell Fitz he is falling back on his 3 point shot and not stepping in

I'll tell him next time I see him.

I think your fence needs painting
Marisa Miller has a freckle on her right cheek ;)
Somebody spilled beer on my fiancee's coat in the first half. That's all I got.
I have a darn hole in my sock
I was up in 420 or 30something...and as some people were leaving early, some jerk threw his beer over the edge down into the section below us.
not a negative, really, more a query; do you think Lazar's sup-par (for him) performance was a case of superior D on him, or, simply an "off-night"?
I was seated behind the Pitt bench and the assistant coaches kept standing up and blocked my view of the game.
I thought only the head coach could stand during a BE game?????
The intensity on offense and defense was awesome - this is what we need to bring to each game, the entire game. We did it agiasnt Pitt and it paid off. The positives far outweighed the negatives, and a real positive is on a night when DJ and Lazar score under 10 points together and we win by 18 - THAT is a team effort. DJ was awesome running the floor, and Lazar only played abotu 6 minutes in the first half die to early fouls.
Great night - worth the drive up and back to Chicago......so
GO MARQUETTE!!

We did shoot alot of three's but that just shows that the guys are confident in their shots. Which is a positive. Earlier in the season when a 3 would go up, it was more out of desperation or impatience rather than believing it would fall. Alot of the long balls friday were in rhythm but just didn't fall.

I took that as a positive. Hayward is the one guy on this team that is always there and you don't worry about. The fact that he had a bad day and we spanked a good opponent is a great big positive. Just a great game for us. That's two in a row. Maybe we are going to peak late this season. Let's back it up at Saint John's.

While I don't know why he had an off night (besided the two charging calls early -both correct calls IMHO) but what I did like to see is that he didn't force anything to try and get his number as I think most young players would. It really impressed me that he still let the game come to him, even when it wasn't (if that makes any sense).
one more negative - winning by 18 was not enough
hayward on those two charges needs to jumpstop and hit the little 6 foot bank shot instead of taking it directly into the helpside defender.
