Marquette depth.
Not close tonight. Oso was Mr. Everything.
Kolek, Mitchell, O-Max and both Joneses really contributed, too.
Oso.
Excellent game from Stevie.

UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Did you even watch the game. Clear difference maker
Oso Ighodaro
Gonna go with an outlier here and say Stevie Mitchell. His D on Richmond was fantastic and he played an efficient offensive game plus 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
Oso.
But Kam's scoop shots did seem to change the trajectory of the game.

Yes, Id possibly only put him above Gold tonight.
Oso.
However, there were several times where Kam made me say oh wow with his finishes at the rim.
So crafty and impressive, seems to be very under control despite the circus type shots that go in.
I keep waiting for him to shoot better than 33ish% from 3, cause I'm damn near convinced that he's a 40% 3P shooter with the look of that shot.
Had to modify to add that Oso is so awesome in so many different aspects of the game. That passing ability is a joy.
Happy for that kid.
Oso, hm to Kolek. There can never be a time where at least one of them isn't in the game, we look so much worse when they're out.
I say Kam because he got us going when SH got in the game.
Oso
Lots of great play tonight. Sean, Kam, Stevie, O-Max were all great.
oso looking more and more composed/comfortable with every game...stay healthy young man b/c we're gonna need you in march
Stevie.
Shut down Richmond, disrupted the Hall O at all times.

TK in the first half, Stevie on the defensive end, but Oso for the totality of the game. He's developed incredibly.
Stevie. The Hall had no answer
No SOTG when GoldenEagles03 thinks we will lose

Until our last run, I thought it was Stevie as well. A terror defensively. The last push put Oso over the top, just too good of a game overall. Tyler, Kam, and OMax were all stud worthy as well. Even Chase and Sean had some nice runs in the game at key moments.
Oso...
but, I think it could've been OMax if he didn't get in foul trouble early because he was cooking to start. Also Kolek with 8 dimes and 0 TOs is an honorable mention as well. Fun stuff!
Stevie. He shut down Richmond who was coming off 17pt and 28pt Big East games. It was the other guys who we struggled with.

Well lemme ask you something mr pgs are heroes - sounds a bit biased by the way towards a certain point forward... - how many first half buzzer beaters did oso (or anyone else for that matter) hit ?
Ipso facto sotg - Jop
Until you correctly used ipso facto, I thought you were riffing on rocket. 7.5 out of 10.
Oso. That said, Omax played a big role in several nice runs by the team. He is a difference maker, and they are much better team with him on the court.

It's not a crazy take at all. Stevie would be my runner-up. Oso was just too good at all phases for just about every moment he was in the game. We are a noticeably worse team when he has to take a seat, and we have no one who can do what he does offensively, defensively and on the glass.
Yup, Stevie did a heck of a job on defense. Absolutely changed the direction of the game.
Huge congrats to Stevie for a great game - also to Kam. Kolek was really good last night, and Omax showed his value to the team. Sean, Chase, and Gold all made important contributions. But, Oso was the one guy who made the most difference,
There was a point during last night's game where it occurred to me - Oso may be in the NBA at this time next year. His improvement is off the charts.
Seeing Mamu court side, I had to wonder which player did more for his team in college? Mamu was good, but not Oso-good.

OSO's chances for the NBA next year are decent.
Let's hope MU's chances of keeping him are not nil, but NIL ⬆️!
Oso dominated in so many ways. But Stevie in D and even Sean Jones com8ng in and hitting important shots.... Wow.... Lots of studs this game. Kam layups we're out of this world..... this touch off the glass is mind boggling
I think we're forgetting how good Mamu was.

Until Oso figures out how to shoot a 15 footer, he would have trouble playing center in the NBA. Stay 2 more years, and he might be an All-American.
Best point center in college for sure. Runs the floor like a wing which he is.
I would love to see him here 2 more years, and remain on a trajectory similar to Frank Kaminsky. NIL will play a role fo sho.
Yes, Oso + 3 pt range = NBA.

Agree. He was a handful.
But Also, Mamu is very popular courtside. Signing autographs and interacting with fans. I love that he comes to MU games and cheers the Big East (not jut Hall). The refs were even greeting him.

Mamu is great when he's at games. And he cheers for MU any time it isn't Seton Hall on the other side. Those Bucks seats are right in front of me and he's by far the most regular visitor.

I'm not sure who he guards in the NBA either...that said his improvement is off the charts...and he seems like a really good kid. We'd be toast without him...most important player on this team.

He's 6'9". Shooting is the easiest part of a pro's game to refine. Plenty of guys go to the NBA on their athleticism and smarts, and Oso has both of those.
Oso has late bloomer written all over him. I have little doubt he will find his way into the NBA at some point.
