If you were to gamble on this game, what would you do?
Moneyline is MU -160, give the 3 points and it is -110.
I did a two-team Parlay with Xavier to win on the Monelyine at -610 and MU to cover (giving 3) to get to +122 on the Moneyline.
Also went large on Xavier -610 on the Moneyline with profits from a hot streak I've been on.
Gambling is bad mmmmk.

I hope any winnings go to charity.

Bold...and don't necessarily disagree especially if Kalkbrenner is out.
Too much uncertainty around Kalkbrenner. Add in the fact that Marquette typically sucks in opening big east games and usually gets blown out.
I remember our very first against UCONN. A very delightful game.
I put small potatoes ($50) on X to cover 10 vs Georgetown.
I'm going to probably take the Under on the MU Creighton game.

This is why I'm gonna put money on the under likely.

I forgot how bad we've been to open league play. Even lost to DePaul IIRC one of the Wojo years to open. Just can't start 0-3 like last year and hope to recover. 7 game winstreaks in the Big East are rare. Last year was special.
Oso over 2.5 assists (price is bad on DK, would rather play on PrizePicks).
One of Oso or Prosper will get 8+ boards, Creighton (with exception of UT game) has been getting beaten on the boards, including BYU thumping them. Oso is +136 on FD to get 8 boards, Prosper +450. Creighton has allowed a double digit opposition rebounder in 3 straight.
Elon
I like both bets, I think we cover tonight.
Lean MU but staying away tonight. Betting against teams in a slump hasn't worked much for me.
We don't win close games so might as well do us -3 instead of the money line

Hopefully large is lots of units to bet -610 on its own.
Creighton is due for a hot shooting game....Hopefully it's not tonight.

I rolled $1220 on it...80% of all profits from the last couple of weeks. I forsee very little homecourt advantage for Georgetown in the way of audience participation. Kenpom has X at an 82% win probability.
Now, I'll be pretty heated if GTown beats X tonight but it is house money.
Just added Kam to make over 2.5, 3-pointers at +103
MU should win tonight.
The fact that CU has been SO bad for last two weeks concerns me. MU needs to jump on them early
Part of the reason (outside of Kalkbrenner being out) Creighton has struggled the last three weeks is the ridiculous schedule McDermott put together. They go to Maui, get the Maui hangover every team gets, go to Austin, then schedule a rivalry game, then go to Vegas for two games, and now come to Milwaukee. That's absurd scheduling. Between that and Kalkbrenner having mono, this is the perfect spot for MU to catch Creighton. Blue Jays have three straight home games after tonight, I'm sure they can't wait to get home.

Very good info.
This is also Creighton looking like the natural progression of who they were last year and not the crazy top-10 projections people like Rothstein and Dauster assigned to them. Creighton was #50 in kenpom last year, it's rare for those teams to jump to the top-10 without a major talent infusion. Fringe top-25 was always the realistic expectation here.

I got that one at ND at +110.
Good luck!
Sharp $ was waiting to hit the under...but has continued to hold off as no one can get confirmation on Kalkbrenner. That's not normal...CU doing an impressive job of keeping the lid on that one. There has been zero talk...not even of confirmation that it is truly a GTD.
is kalkbrener playing?
He is not

You're absolutely right, and what's ironic is their 2022-23 season stock potentially could hit rock bottom tonight, and they'll then be undervalued.

After reading FoldingBeagles I felt confident they'd win easily
