I remember back in the 80s, we had several players that could get very high.

Muggsy, this is not meant as a swipe at you, as you enliven and engage Scoop on a regular basis....

I don't understand the annual infatuation with vertical leap. These kids are high D1 athletes and they're supposed to be athletic.

It's like talking about and ranking the swing speeds on the PGA TOUR or LIV. Let's talk instead about what the players do with that swing speed and vertical, not to mention all the other aspects of both games that don't require that raw physical power.

Then again, it doesn't hurt to have the goods to begin with.....

⛳️  "UH OH.....HAPPY LEARNED TO PUTT! (rebound)  🏀

That was my thought. I thought Jones was supposed to be one of our better athletes since Dom James.

You're  primarily right here.  I am a bit obsessed with guys that can sky, but it's about what they do with that bounce.....or quickness.   That said I do think if you have these traits as part of your arsenal, one's overall potential to contribute is greater. Mainly on the defensive end or controlling tempo with speed.  Now believe me I would be pretty happy having Nikola Jokic in an MU uniform but these guys aren't exactly easy to find.  Although I have always advocated for more Euro and International scouting at MU.

I've consistently heard that Ross is the best athlete on the squad, followed by Keeyan. Sean probably a close 3rd.

Elevation?  I was in Colorado this summer and think they should think about lowering the whole place about 5000 feet.
