TL:DR: If you're testing for Covid and swabbing just your nose, there's a 33% chance you'll have a false-negative.
Swab your cheeks, roof of your mouth, and nose for a 10% chance of a false-negative.

IDK, I think the method used when I got a PCR test to leave Abu Dhabi was better. Briefly wave the swap around my nostril, barely grazing the rim, much like a perfume tester giving a sample at a mall. Undeniable results

Hah, yeah, if you're a visitor leaving a country - they want you to leave - ESPECIALLY if you have covid!
(And yes, I know a some people have gotten stuck in countries with positive covid tests - those countries are testing wrong!)

Depends. Resorts wouldn't mind if you stayed so they can charge you extra days

Actually resorts want you gone too. The ones we went to were all booked back to back and a Covid patient is a total downer at the resort.
