Eliud Kipshoge just ran a 2:01.09. Think about how ridiculous that is?

Bears shouldn't be unjustly vilified.
A Proghorn Antelope would do well in a Marathon. :)
Hit 3 wood instead.

To put his race into even more perspective, look at his 5k splits. I think most people can relate to a 5k race time. If someone breaks 15 minutes for a 5k, they are a pretty good runner and if they run in the low to mid 14's, they are considered a very good runner. That would pretty much win any somewhat competitive 5k road race, win most collegiate track 5k's except the most competitive races and would even win you some prize money at some road races. Kipchoge ran 8 consecutive 5k splits that most runners would be extremely proud to do one of and then he had an additional 2.19 kilometers after those 40 kilometers. Here are his 8 5k splits during the Berlin Marathon: 14:14, 14:09, 14:10, 14:12, 14:23, 14:32, 14:30, 14:43. Unreal!!!
