In order to be immediately eligible after a first time transfer, a student athlete must enter the portal within 60 days after the season ends. There will be some time allowed after a coaching change or if a scholarship is pulled as well.

Thanks for the correction. Reading comprehension would have served me well in this case.
So, roughly mid-May or slightly sooner to get immediate first time eligibility. Vast majority of transfers happen before that. Not really a big deal other than the extra time for coaching changes and pulled scholarships.

What people will say (you did not, but national writers will) is that there is a "60 day transfer window". There is not. There is a 60 day notification window.
Not really a big deal really. I think most transfers already enter the portal by mid-May. It simply helps avoid kids jumping ship at a bad time for the schools but still being immediately eligible
