I've seen it twice and both times were really good. A real treat for MU fans.l, even if the McGuire era was before your time.
I'm planning on going w/Wifey on Friday or Saturday as I travelled into MKE for 4th Holidays & Summerfest.....bonus to see some MUBB content via a play ;)
A good selection of tickets remain for the shows I looked at
Going the 29th......cant wait.
I've gone twice as well...for those that have seen it...or really know MU hoops... I forgot the players name that Al's character talks about "not being the smartest" because he hurt his leg in practice and Al asked him where he hurt and he limped over to the spot he fell and pointed at the floor. I'm not describing it the best...but you get the gist.
Saw the Mcguire play tonight.
60 people tonight, according to the q and a, only Rick Cobb has went as far as past players.
Tim vanboren, Barbara Enberg, and Anthony did a question and answer afterwords.
Well done play, Anthony was very good in the role of actor.
The desire this time around is to make Al more human. His flaws as opposed to an ode to Al.
They want to take it to all big east cities and end up in New York.
I do think they need to promote it better. It is definitely worth going!
A questionable take on a mustard handshake from Gary Brell to Digger Phelps after Digger called him a hot dog. Some people questioned the accuracy.

That was Earl Tatum
It's a fantastic show. Tony Crivello does an outstanding job. I saw it a couple years ago and talked with Tony afterwards. He was in a logic class I taught at Marquette in the old days. Great student too! Go see it!
We went last night.... Excellent show!!! Tony does Al well.... Our Emcee was Ch 4 TMJ Sports guy, Lance Allen... They said Ric Cobb will be at the show on Sun.... Walter Downing was in the audience as well.. He enjoyed the show. He is currently English teacher in Ill... There is talk about taking the show to other BE cities when MU is playing schools there. 8-)
This Facebook post today on Pat Smith who started it all for Al. People often ask where I got my Scoop moniker, not knowing the history of Pat.

That was great recap of Pat's contribution to MU basketball program. He got the NYC express started for Al.
Thanks for posting, Dr. B.
