Sounds about right. Syracuse is a bubble team right now, that would make it 8. Cincy has some work to do, and Nova would have to go on quite a streak to have any hopes.

Seems right to me. Syracuse losing to South Florida is a killer for their hopes (at least for now).
Who else is worthy?
8 is the max the BE will get this year, barring another Syracuse BE run, or West Virginia falling, 7 is probably pretty realistic.

Cincy would have to win the conference title....12 losses gives them no shot.
Basically WVU, Syracuse and Nova still have possibilities but Nova has to go on a big run.
