Title: New February Scheduling Model

Good article from Norlander. The basic idea is to have a computer match up teams from 22 leagues for one home and one away game each in the middle of February. It would be bracket-busters on steroids. The drawback is they are not including the top-6 leagues (ACC, Big East, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, Pac-12) because of their longer league schedules and expected pushback. That's too bad, I'd love to see mid-majors get the opportunity to get shots at the big boys late in the season. Still a cool concept.

I love this idea.

The big boys would have to renegotiate tv contacts to make this work.  But even without them it could be pretty fun.

I think so, too.

Big Ten is about to get a billion $ tv deal, though
