Excellent Article by Wyatt Wheeler (Springfield News Leader writer) on Zaide Lowery. Goes into the history of Zaide recruitment by Shaka. Chose MU over Kansas.

Kansas did recruit Lowery. I don't know that they officially offered but he was on Selfs radar
