Nightmare
just dystopian hell show
what's most "terrifying" (concerning) to me:
1. Shaka preached year one was all about establishing culture
2. We ALL agreed we wanted to see the team improve.
Neither of these happened full stop.

Both of those happened. "Full stop"

Well I am not sure what "culture" he established. Everything he preaches was completely absent today.
And sure while they improved through the first couple of months, they completely dropped off at the end.
All I wanted today was not to have to watch a blowout loss in the tourney. I wanted a win, yes, but mostly I just didn't want to see a blowout. I didn't think my expectations were that far off...

Sure, Clarissa.

What culture do you see?
Regarding getting better - they haven't beat a tournament team since 2/2, lost to Butler and DePaul, and just had the worst 8/9 seed loss in tournament history.
I get that it's only year one of the Shaka era, but take off your freakin Blue and Gold Glasses.

Sure, Clarissa.
What culture did you see that was evident today? That was evident the last few weeks of the season?
How many run-outs did they give up today? Alley-oops? How "violent" were they really? Did they actually "lose themselves in the fight?"
They gave up. No adjustments. The same stuff we gave Wojo sh*t for.

Yeah, the culture at the end of the year was worse than at the beginning, with a young team to begin with. Not great.
That's what's disheartening- team was worse at end of year than beginning of year. Does not lead to confidence for next year.

Right...
MU did NOT improve over the course of the year. They played well for a month.
Just like WOJO , Shaka did not adjust in the 2d half of the conference season.
Just like WOJO teams .., the collapsed at the end of the year ( 4 - 8 )
His two veterans ( Lewis and Morsell) were terrible. Just awful.
They were lost on offense and defense.
Truly awful.
