I'll be in town next weekend for the St. John's game and now that I know it's at 8pm I'm looking for a good brunch spot for Saturday. Any recommendations? Usually I go to Benelux or Wicked Hop but looking to try something new.
I'm staying at the Hyatt but will go anywhere really. Thanks

Either of those are fantastic. Enjoy!
I've enjoyed The Knick at the Knickerbocker hotel. Also Sweet Diner is a good spot in the Third Ward.
Café At the Plaza.
1007 N Cass.

Stay at Ricky's late enough and you can break your fast with the dancing girls.
If you want beer and bloodys for breakfast, the Nomad is fun. Footy on the TV, waffle maker upstairs.

I was always an Art's guy.
I'm thinking sweet diner might be the spot
Then above options are all pretty good.
Toast in Walker's point is good too.

Vote for Engine Company! They have amazing food, and it's also Marquette Alumni owned.

Toast is a great option.
Fools Errand in the third ward is pricey but very good.
Uncle Wolfies is a very solid cheaper option
Wolfie's is good, but hyper-cautious when it comes to COVID. Believe they're still at a heavily reduced capacity and don't take reservations. I'd have a backup option if heading there.
Sabrosa in Walker's Point. Need reservations.

Really? We've never had a reservation but admittedly haven't been there in 6 months. I do like Sabrosa quite a bit.

What are you doing, committing ritual suicide, Milwaukee style? That stuff is awful but for breakfast .... NO THANKS!@!!!

Eating it for breakfast locks in your plan for the rest of the day.

Been twice in the past two months and needed. First, not a lot of inside seating. Outside is okay as it is heated but it's not as enjoyable in the winter.
I've always liked Story Hill BKC, along with the others mentioned. Had a bloody mary or two at Camp Bar over the weekend, that's enough garnish to constitute brunch, right? Right?
There is a new place called Tupelo Honey. I ate at one in Asheville and thought it was pretty darn good. It is a small chain. I second Sweet Diner and Uncle Wolfies (although I remember it being very small and sitting at the bar, so check out their current procedures like another person mentioned).

I've retroactively banned dgies for 3 days, Feb 19-21, you can verify he didn't post those days. I imagine he cried into his Cards handkerchief the entire time.

I retroactively accepted my punishment with the grace and poise seen on Scoop when we lose because someone steps across the end line.

Both are terrific restaurants, well worth the trip.
Another vote for Sabrosa, though it's in Bay View, not Walker's Point.
We tried the brunch @ Crawdaddy's on Greenfield this weekend and really liked it.
Sweet Diner was meh. Lots of food, but quality was just ok. Had chilaquiles. It was just a bowl of potatoes covered up with tortilla chips with a couple of eggs on top. There were other ingredients, but overwhelmed by potatoes.
Bloody was just ok. Good candied bacon on the skewer, though.
Service was pathetically slow. Friendly, likely due to staffing shortage.
Other entrees at our table were well received.
We got there early. Placed was packed by 9:15.
Check it off the list. Worth a try, but I won't go back. Thought it was over priced for the quality.
It's a nice space, but I agree on Sweet Diner. Never been terribly impressed.

Haha. Not sure why I typed WP.
Thanks for the recommendations! Like Swoopem, Porky will also be in town for the St. John's game and looged on to Scoop to ask the same thing, but saw Swoopem beat Porky to the punch so no need for Porky to ask for the same. Go Warriors!
Broken Yolk is great. They need a bloody on the menu.
Lots of posts missing from this thread?
Anyway, let me say West Allis Cheese and Sauasage shop is a great little place for brunch. Throw in Mad Rooster on Greenfield off Miller Park Way

Unfortunately the Mad Rooster has been closed since October due to a fire.

I thought they reopened the Milwaukee location? I like their chilaquiles. They also opened one in Kenosha.
