For my rooting interests it's a win/win. So happy to see Stafford (a hall of fame talent) finally get to the brightest stage but also have fallen in love with Joey Burrow so just hoping for a well played, close game.
Placed large bet on LA (-4). I believe LA defensive front is going to dominate Bengals offensive line, which has issues and I am also rooting for Stafford.
Bet beside, hope the game is fun. Some of the commercials look lame and I'll pass on the halftime show.
Probably pulling for the Rams so Stafford gets a ring

I also think Donald and the Rams pass rush dominate the Bengals porous O-line.
Kupp, Beckham, and the other Rams receivers exploit Cincy's shaky CBs.
I think the Rams win by 10 plus, but rooting for the Bengals.

I really love watching Burrow play. Lots of chutzpah and a ton of talent. And that Cinci kicker is a cool, cocky kid too. I'd expect him to hit anywhere from 55 & in with the game on the line if he gets the chance.
I like Stafford as well. I'd have questioned his ability to pull out a close game, but he responded big-time against the Niners. I do think that with all the talk about LA's D-line, Cinci's is getting overlooked some. They can put Stafford on his butt.
Last year, I felt the Bucs would torment Mahomes ... and the Bengals have an even worse offensive line. And the Rams have a great D-line. And yet I just see Burrow finding a way this time.
Bengals 23, Rams 20

Dick Vermeil looks pretty damn good for 85.
Bengals have to be pretty happy where they are at.

1) It's Eminem.

Man, the OBJ narrative has changed a lot over the last few months.
Anytime you are in the 4th quarter, with 1.9 yards per carry, ya gotta keep trying to establish the run.

People are far too binary. A WR can be a tremendous talent AND also a diva. He can be high maintenance AND super beneficial to a top team.
If the Browns excelled without him it might be a different story. Before he got hurt, my buddy who is a diehard Browns fan texted me "the Browns threw that type of route to OBJ 0 times in the last few seasons"

Thank you. Stafford isn't perfect, but he's better than any of the RBs the Rams have. Yet McVay has done NOTHING to try and get him in a rhythm or cooking. It's force feeding a floundering running game and then trying to get huge chunk plays without your 2 best WRs.

Especially with Perine. Not sure why you don't use Mixon if you are going to run it.
Somebody predicted great things for Stafford and the Rams 54 weeks ago.
Happy for Stan Kroenke and the city of St Louis.
One lousy extra point miss. Along with Chase taking off Ramsay's face mask on a 75 yard td, a lot of people lost money. Did you hear the booing of fans when Rams kicked final extra point? Everyone wanted them to go for two, cover spread. Oh well
Bengals stopped the run, but if they didn't have that Chase TD, might not have been close. Aaron Donald is ridiculous. Kupp is ridiculous.
Bengals gonna be second guessed for not giving Mixon ball on 4th and one.

I thought the mistake was the pass on 2nd down. That's when you run and then you run again on 3rd if needed. 10 more yards put them in FG range. Get there first and then go for the win. You can always fall back to the FG.

Rams had a lot of defensive weapons. But after OBJ went down, not many options on offense besides Kupp, yet he got open against double coverage almost every time.
Hated the 3rd-down run.
The Bengals had plenty of time to get the winning TD. As soon as they ran there, they were saying, "We're happy going for the tying FG." You let your best players - Burrow and his pass-catchers - make a play and then you see where you stand after you get the first down.
On the facemask that wasn't called on Higgins ... it was well downfield, and there was only one ref who could have made the call. And he was trailing the play and running as fast as he could (which wasn't fast). And Higgins' and Ramsey's backs were to the ref. There is no way he could have seen it. It was an "obvious" penalty to everybody watching on TV because we had a great angle.
I didn't mind the run because they needed the first down. Time really wasn't the issue.
What was extremely questionable was they didn't use Mixon
The 2nd & 1 useless bomb was the ultimate dagger. That was an atrocious decision and play call, there's just no need for it there. If you're at or inside the Rams 40, maybe, but you just can not waste that down.

There was a missed block. RB no matta. The advantage there was the Rams were keying on the run, so pass on a misdirection.

It was a "settle for a FG" play IMHO.
We'll never know what will happen if they ran a quick out to Higgins, a slant to Chase or a screen to Mixon. But I'd have liked their chances better.
Again, just my opinion. We'll never know. What we do know is that what they called didn't work, and it set up a desperation 4th-down play.
