Losing to a ranked team with a huge 5 on their floor. Meh. Would have loved to get the W, but 5-2 over that stretch was outstanding.
But now the rubber hits the road. It's now how you start, it's how you finish. After years of Wojo let down I think we are all a little

about February.
That said, I thought we'd have to (and would) go 5-1 during this stretch before the last 7 games and see no reason to change that expectation now. 6-0 is very possible. 4-2 wouldn't thrill me but I won't jump off a ledge. 3-3 or worse and it puts some tarnish on what has been an incredible season to this point.
6 - 0, win one that looks like they're gonna lose.
Most wins in BEast (but may not be regular season champs with the % nonsense).
UConn could lose 4 or 5 by the end of regular season play. Vs MU tonight was probably the best they can play.
Providence could lose 3 or 4.
Bet this team on a hot streak. Believe it!
Anything less than 5-1 would be disappointing.
What the hell, I said 6-0, though 4-2 would be more than enough to secure a single-digit seed. I'm hoping to get the 4-seed in the Big East tourney, or whatever lines us up with Providence in the semis. Let 'Nova deal with UConn, then we knock out Providence and 'Nova on back to back days to secure the Big East Tourney title.
I think there's going to be one away game that we slip up on, maybe Creighton or DePaul.
Baseline is 4-2. Win the 3 home games and steal one on the road.
5-1 is definitely doable.

That was my thinking. Went with 4-2.

My thoughts also-either Creighton or DePaul may snag a win against us. If Freeman-Liberty plays, I think DePaul is the more likely of the two. I'm going with 5-1.
Would love to say 6-0 but this is the Big East and we ar elikely to have one bad night/run into a hot opponent so I think 5-1 for 13-6 overall in conference.
Hopefully if we do drop a game it is the Creighton or Depaul game which would be a quadrant 1 (if Creighton doesn't drop anymore) or quadrant 2 loss. (If I understand the calculation of quadrants correctly)
St. John's would be a 3, @ Butler barely a 2, vs Butler a 3, and Georgetown a 4.
6-0. Our next loss will be @MSG.
6-0 definitely doable, but I think we'll slip up once or twice. I voted 5-1, but wouldn't be shocked at 4-2. Regardless, we're playing with house money.

I think Nova beats PC twice and ends up the 1. MU and PC as 2 and 3. Uconn as 4.
Or that's what I'm hoping for, anyways.
5-1 and is what we "should" do. I wouldn't be shocked with either 4-2 or 6-0. 3-3 and would be very disappointing. Honestly, I think we could go 2-4 and still end up dancing at this point. Let's not test that though.

Torvik projects that 2-4 with a first round BET loss would push us into Dayton.
3-3 with a first round BET loss and we're still a single digit seed.
4-2, 1 win in the BET, and then off to Portland with a 6 seed in hand.

I would be wildly ok with that.
Usually 30-45 seconds followed by tears and shame
I admire your stamina. Agree with the rest.
4-2. Loss at Creighton and a random loss along the way.

I am highly disappointed with Scoop that it took almost 12 hours for this response.

I haven't been in 8-10 years but is the DePaul game in Chicago still essentially a home game for Marquette?

Yep, and Wintrust is 10x easier to get to than Allstate being right off the red line. It's a smaller arena and great for watching basketball.
They just need to open more of the beer vendors, they're never prepared for the crowd.
I am surprised more people didn't vote 6-0 since we had a stretch earlier of 7 straight wins against an overall tougher stretch of opponents than our final 6 will be. Since the Creighton game, this team doesn't seem to have let-downs like many of our past teams have. Their only two losses in the last 10 games have come against two very good teams on the road, and both of them they were in it until the end. I think they will play up to their ability in each of the remaining games and go into the BET on a roll.
I said 6-0.
I'm an optimist, but one doesn't have to be crazy optimistic to see that it can happen. There's only 1 game the rest of the way in which we even have a chance of being the underdog (at Creighton), and I think we avenge that loss.
I certainly could see us losing 1 or even 2 because stuff happens, but I'd be a little disappointed with 4-2. And 3-3 would not be good.
Win the next 3 or the expectations of 90%+ of us will not have been met.
I had 'don't feed the troll. ' Feeling pretty good.
Having been a run the table advocate, I've been humbled.
After today's debacle, I see another loss before schedule's end.
Hoping, of course, that this (coach-driven, unnecessary, stupid) loss will motivate them like the last Creighton encounter did, and we go on a seven-game W streak.
