Awesome thanks! Any MU game is a good game to watch!
For everyone's info:
MUWBB currently projected as one of the first four out of the tourney.
Very cool. Will definitely watch. I only follow the women's team peripherally. Is Duffy recruiting well?

I knew about the scheduled game today but thanks for alerting others here.
Taking my 3-year-old daughter, will be her first women's game. Hasn't been to any game since early in the 2019-20 season.
Let's go Lady Warriors!!

Just "Warriors." Marquette doesn't add the "Lady" in front of the nickname.
Good win!
Stole that one. But a huge win for their tourney chances.
MU fouls up 3 with less than six ticks.
Awesome experience. The kid clapped at all the right times, danced in the intermissions, and made it through the entire game. Marquette winning was also a great bonus.

Very cool Brew. Good for you and your daughter. Sounds like a blast.

Yeah and it was a comeback I didn't see coming. My heart was tested this weekend with this one and the 2 point win they escaped with Friday night against Providence. Creighton was coming off a win at DePaul on Friday night also.
But now they need to follow this up with a win on the road at Villanova Friday. And then they have a big home game in a week when UCONN comes to town and the game will be televised on Fox also. This will probably be the only time they play UCONN during the regular season. Their game at UCONN was canceled due to Covid issues for MU and it doesn't look like it's going to be rescheduled.

Special moments! I drove from Chicago to Milwaukee for a game when my daughter was about 5 - just the two of us. She still remembers the experience and she's 28 now lol. Great you did that Brew!
Women's games are fantastic. Their game ops is exceptional. They've played listless lately, losing to a mediocre Nova team and then not putting away PC but this one was a great one. Beating a Creighton team who pounded them in Omaha.
We have season tickets 8 rows up center court. Like $100 / ticket. It's such a great deal. Their birthday party package is a steal too. #muwbb crushes it.

Love seeing them when they are in Chicago against DePaul. Game is always intense

They generally have some pretty good battles with DePaul - it's a fun rivalry.
MU vs UConn on Fox - national TV right now from the Al. Warrior Eagles up a point at the end of Q1.
Tied at 31 at the half. I think #8 UCONN made their 1st four 3 pointers and they have a 6'5" player. Very impressive 1st half for Marquette. Pregame show mention of current 10 seed in NCAAT for MU.
Loved seeing Shaka at the game along with some of the men's team.
Good game for the first 3 quarters, but total meltdown for MU in the 4th Q. Star power showed up for UConn and they blew the game open.

Another Februry swoon. Sad!
Such a great game to the point Marquette led 49-48. Then UConn just decked us with a 19-3 run. Probably their last shot at getting an at-large bid. They could've dropped one of Nova or UConn, but not both.

"The Feb. Fade" -- get it right, Unk!
Despite the 4th quarter rout, there are some positives from today's game:
1) Large and enthusiastic crowd on Super Bowl Sunday that came to the game rather than spend the afternoon at SB parties.
2) Shaka and some of our guys showed up. I am a big believer in synergy and getting the students and the men's team-and their fans- to cheer on our women's team. It creates an even greater "basketball buzz" at Marquette.
3) They played very well for 3/4 of the game and I think Megan Duffy has them positioned to become a major force in the BE. Like the men's team- good times are ahead.
4) Nobody crashed their vehicle through the entrance of the Al while attempting a driving layup.
