From an ESPN researcher:
Marquette has 145 assists (20.7 per game) over its current 7-game win streak.
That's the most assists by any Big East team in any 7-game span of conference play over the last decade.
145 assists on 206 made baskets (70.3%).
Love it ! Have commented several times how passing has been exceptional since Creighton loss. A great offensive system seems, to me, to be one that emphasizes passing and then trusts players to take shots confidently within that process. Like the Spurs teams of yore, Gonzaga, Nova , etc. Defense first, then transition pace and finally great ball movement. All capped off by individuals having clear 'role' expectations and this will lead to sustained program success. Keep it up boys!!!!
Yep. It's been a big difference maker.
