Some of the posts yesterday got me to ask "Where is Myles Powell now" and I ran across this, which I did not recall seeing last summer. I see Seton Hall filed to have this dismissed, but as best as I can tell the case is still on-going. Anybody know if it has been settled ?
I have to admit I had a grudging admiration for his game, very exciting college player. But a little like Markus, size hurts his ability to defend at the next level.
Powell was a good college player but doesn't have enough game to play at the next level, even when he's 100% healthy. The situation referenced is both pathetic and embarrassing. It's very cringe. It's probably giving Duane Wilson ideas though.
Why is it "cringe?"
If it is accurate, it is negligent. A trainer diagnosed what turned out to be a more serious injury instead of suggesting that he see an actual doctor.
I choose to believe that Seton Hall is in the wrong. I also choose to believe that the call at the end of yesterday's game was correct.

Unless it's true, then it's pathetic and embarrassing the other way
