Good move
Spent Time with the team watching film and then showed guys on the court what they could improve on. Class act.
Novak, Fitzgerald and Aaron Jones in the house tonight.
Great win.

Fitz is at every home game. Novak is at most every one when he's in town I believe

Heard this on the Homer post-game and loved both that Wes is being a steward to the program and that Shaka made a point to publicly recognize Wes and what it meant to him and the team.

No love for Bo Ellis and Mamukelashvili who were also in attendance and highlighted during a timeout? :)
It was cool to see Aaron Jones decked out in MU gear.

Yes I know. No Ellis comes to a lot of games as well. It is great to see.

After the game he stayed and signed autographs and took selfies with anyone who wanted one. Very cool.

If Scoop was around in the 70s, No Ellis would definitely be his nickname after every bad game Bo played.

Haha-the first time I typed it, it changed to Ho Ellis. I'll get it right yet.

Shouldn't have let that clown Mamu in the building for a non-Bucks event.

Mamu is the new Donte, he's at almost every home game.
I always thought Mamu was a very good player. Good to hear this about him. I gotta assume there will be a friendly wager when SH comes to town. Bucks in town that day.
One of my best friends gets invited to a number of Marquette games a year in very nice seats. I don't remember the exact details, but at the Illinois game he said there was some big dude sitting next to him and for some reason my friend asked him if he's a Marquette fan (I think he might've found out he's a Bucks player? Maybe he was shown on the jumbotron?), and the guy said he roots for MU unless they're playing at Seton Hall. My buddy said something about how he was in the same seats for last year's MU vs. Seton Hall game and Seton Hall had a stud that is gone now, and the guy next to him was like, "Yeah, that guy was me."
So Mamu claims to root for MU if they aren't playing SHU.
I sat in the section behind Mamu last night and he wasn't cheering, but he did go home with a handful of those gold nerfy Marquette noodles they give out, and a baby blue MU T-shirt from the t-shirt toss. During the game he also was chatting up a few of the 'Dence players that he undoubtedly knew from playing against them over the past few years.

That's pretty funny.

We sit right behind him. He's at most games and always engaged. Very nice guy - will always take pics and sign for kids.

Didn't even think about that angle. It would be pretty fun to know a bunch of the players showing up at the Fiserv Forum, sit courtside, remind them that you used to own them, and that you're now making millions (though in his case I think it's more hundreds of thousands).
Mamu > Myles Powell

If Myles ever comes to an MU game and sits in decent seats I hope the power goes out, and Theo comes running out of the tunnel with a chair. And it turns into a WWE event.
Let's hope Wes comes around more often.

Haha, that would be great! But Theo don't need no chair...
The subject of this thread scared me at first.
