Nobody expected Davis to be THIS good this fast, but it was evident last year that he had the potential to be a legit really good college player.
None of Shaka's recruits look like they can develop to be anything close to a dominant college player.

Really going out on a ledge with this prediction after his performance tonight
:-/
Would be much more impressive if you made this call last year.
This is the early year leader for dumbest thread on Scoop. Please bookmark this for the award show at the end of 2022. Thanks in advance, mods!
Quality trolling.
He gowne, aina?
Lmao. Scoring in double figures in less than a third of his games, truly showed ALL the potential for this explosion.
Well I guess he did close the season exceptionally strong, really showed what might be in 2021...oh wait, he averaged 6 pts over his last 10 games.
Sucks that MU has no freshman who could dare show anything similar as freshmen.

Porter Moser's top freshman scorer at Oklahoma, C.J. Noland, is averaging 5 ppg, 2 rpg, 1 apg.
Unlike Johnny Davis, neither Noland nor any of Moser's other recruits at Oklahoma look like they can develop to be anything close to a dominant college player.
But at least Moser has the skin pigmentation you prefer.
