Most will disagree.
It was a Greg Elliott.
When he came in with 7ish min left:
3 pointer, 2 pointer, then a great assist. Kinda changed the tide.
I'm going with Justin. 14/9/5 is a monster line. That said, Kam Jones and Greg Elliott had some huge moments.
Oso Ighodaro
Honorable Mention
Justin Lewis
Sorry.
I also made a thread. My bad.

Ima +1 this. Greg was the energy this game.
Lewis
Justin
JL10
Greg showed some leadership.
Lewis
Justin and then Kam. Nice spark from Greg when it was needed.
Kam. Kept us in it when we were cold as ice.
On a 40-min. basis, gotta go with Justin.
Big hoop by Kam, and a very good night overall.
The difference maker, in limited minutes, was Greg, and it was nice to see this super senior make a difference.

Great call. He was responsible for 9 straight points and it completely changed the game.
Justin, easily. 14 and 9 with 5 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks.

Greg was the Cintas MVP of the game on Homer and Tony Smith Radio
Starting to think we need to scrap StOTG and start doing grinders of the game or something - two or three guys that lose themselves to make the team better - this team is better than the parts - such a dramatic change from Wojo
Lewis was the best player on the court most of the night.
Nice to see lots of others make significant contributions, too.
Greg led the spark that we needed.
Elliott. His run turned the game around. Without his spark, we lose (and with Justin's stats, respectively, we were not looking good and losing).
Oso.
As the team faltered done the stretch, it came done to one last play, one last attempt and Oso stepped up and blocked what easily could have been a game winner.
Game on the line and Oso's d made the difference.

Kur had a big block, dunk, big rebound n similar fashion.....and I said those are winning plays. Greg had a 3 play winning streak as you described. Those are winning plays.
I'm going with Shaka....knowing when to push and when to pull is an art form especially on this years team.
My advice to Morsell would be for him to slow down. I said this in the game thread but for some reason he has gotten sped up the last 3 games or so. He's pressing to score the ball and he doesn't have to at all. If help comes on his downhill attacks? Move the rock. He's a capable passer. Lastly, once in the paint use the jump stop and shot fake. No need to rush in open space. I don't think there's any reason known to man why both DM and TK sometimes are going balls to the wall on a vertical drive in the half-court. Neither are Allen Iverson, calm down and collect yourself.
Elliott. Nice to see him find his confidence.
HM: Lewis. Total stud out there
Kam - Scored the last 6 points of the game for MU. Kam made a three with 5:40 left to put us up 61-54 and then we went scoreless for 5 minutes until Kam hit another 3 with 33 seconds left to put us up 64-60.
Honorable Mention - JLew. Great all around game.
We have nominations for Greg for a nice little stretch ... for Kam for a nice little stretch ... and for Oso for a game-saving block. All were important. We wouldn't have won the game without them.
One guy was good all game, even when he had to be a decoy/passer because the opponent was double-teaming him.
I mean ... 14 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, 2 blocks. Plus, only 1 turnover in 33 minutes. And a team-high +8.
Let's not overthink this, folks.
I was thinking Elliott too because the SOTG should not necessarily be the guy with the most points, or assists or rebounds or all.
1a. elliot
1b. lewis
both had great games at different points of the game, gotta go with greg though seemed like he was making big plays for us when the game got close and on the run we made to take the lead
Greg made a difference in this game. Finally. We definitely need his shooting and leadership which he showed today. Kolek needs to quit shooting.

He shot 35.8% from 3 last year. He can keep shooting all year, more will go in. Today was an outlier.
Lewis.

Last night he really looked like he was in his own head. The Golden Breakdown has talked about how much better he's been when he's set and facing the basket, but last night he had good looks and just couldn't buy a bucket. I do hope the staff prioritizes a shooter with the remaining scholarship. While Kolek should at some point regress to the norm, in the future we'll need more shooting if the offense is geared toward paint and threes.

This. He's in a terrible shooting slump but is distributing at an elite level and is a good rebounding guard. The shooting will come around
Greg Elliot
Lewis. Honorable mention to Greg and Kam.

Agreed. With the caveat that his cross court passes will start to get intercepted more as the season continues. Opponents will have enough tape on it. And if I'm noticing the tendencies, I should hope that someone else whose job it is to notice has as well.

Obviously he's a better shooter than what he's showing (or we better hope), but last night wasn't an outlier. Last night was how most of the season has gone for him.
He's had one very good (WVU) and one average (Illinois) shooting performance this season. In those games, he was 12-for-23 overall, 6-for-11 from three.
In the other nine games, he's a combined 9-for-53 from the field, 4-for-35 from three. That's very bad.
I don't think he can stop shooting, of course, but maybe he needs to be a little more judicious about picking his spots. Some of his shots in the first half last night were poor decisions.
Just because Greg had his best game of the year with 8 points doesn't equate to SOTG.
It's either JLew or Kam. KenPom say JLew.

Agree. Its Lewis
Elliott had a great stretch, Lewis had the best total game
Lewis
Justin Lewis. Honorable mention to GE and KJ.
Lewis, really liked his defensive efforts too.

The super senior listed as a JR with another year after this one!
Justin.
But Kam and Greg deserve the podium as well.
If it were Spark of the Game, Greg would have a case. But Justin was the Stud.
Watching the game I thought Kam.
But it's Justin. Could have been Kolek had he made 2-3 shots.
Lewis...Shaka agrees.
Since this is the "Stud of the Game" and not "Stud of these particular moments of the Game" I am going to have to go with Lewis.
Greg and Kam gave us sparks and got them going at times, Oso with the big play at the end saved the day, etc. But for the full 40, Lewis is the man.

This. It's nice to see Greg contributing considering he's hardly done anything so far.
Lewis for sure. Without him steadying us on offense and being really good on defense we wouldn't have been in a position for Greg and Kams runs to put us over the top. Really nice games from both of them though
Gotta be Lewis. He was big keeping us in the game when we were at our worst.
JFL
Easily Lewis. When he gets his 3rd I'll finally update to a pic with his new # and new hair :)
Kam
