Today may be an anomaly. I think we scored 10 points in 20 mins. But in our h-c sets, when we are in a draught, what would you draw up to stop momentum?
When we're playing like this, I'll have a draught.

Ha!!! I meant drought. :)
I knew that, but when they're playing like this, I'll have a draught - or several!

I'll admit I decided to have a power beer. Pirrat which is like 10.5%.

It's nice to know some of you have a sense of humor. I didn't think this was a laughing matter during the course of the game and was hoping for some solutions. :)
Last night was tough because we got away from what we do. We didn't drive enough which meant we settled for contested jumpers. They pushed tempo, so we couldn't put on our press for easy buckets and they handled the pressure when we did.
We've seen a number of guys come through. Justin showed it with some of his plays down the stretch. Morsell as well when he's on. Kolek has shown the ability to forget misses and hit big shots. But it's a young team that will lose some frustrating games. Hopefully that just makes them easier to coach come Monday.
Muggsy, you asked the same question a month ago. The make up and nature of the team hasn't changed. Morsell, Lewis, or Kolek are the obvious answers after watching 5 games. None is a guarantee. Patience.

To me it's just Lewis/Morsell right now.
For better or for worse, Kam seems to have the "I want to take the big shot" mentality.
It might result in a few WTF moments, but it ultimately could serve him (and the team) very well.
Of all the guys on the team, he looks closest to having no conscience when it comes to shooting the rock.
And Kam already had hit a few big 3s for us.
Lewis and Morsell.
But last night is precisely why I was down on this team coming into the season. I didn't expect Morsell to be a 20 PPG guy (and he probably won't be), and besides Lewis, we have a bunch of freshman and a sophomore transfer moving from the A10 to BE.
I honestly had no idea who was going to score. Fast forward 5 games and I am incredibly encouraged with what we have seen, but we did see that concern rear its ugly head last night.
If the Bonnies were actualyl hitting shots, that's a 40 point blowout. They missed tons of wide open 3 pointers (they shot 2-17 from 3) and it wasn't until Bonnie removed their rotation players that Marquette made the score look much closer that it really was.
Is that a 1 game blip, or a sign of what's to come against most good teams? My guess is a bit of both. In any event, 5-1 is a fantastic start and with a 4-1 finish to non-con, Marquette just needs to go .500 in BE to dance. That isn't something I thought was even remotely realistic a week ago right now.
The issue for MU is the baseline. After 2K there is no bulk for the 5 spot. Lewis looks like a rock at the 4 spot but Prosper and Igadoro don't have enough beef to hold the post. Finding 10 wins in the conference won't be easy. If they win 3 of 4 vs De Pail and Georgetown and go 0and 4 vs Nova and Uconn that makes them 3 and 5, it seems a bit of a reach to expect to go 7 and 5 vs the rest of the league seems like a bridge to far. It could be done but don't hold your breath.

Ideally when you can use the bucket to get 11% off at Menards.
Home Depot?
