If there is a weakness at this point it is our rebounding, Ole Miss was killing us on the boards, especially on the offensive side with all those second, third and even fourth chances to score.
Securing a rebound on a missed free throw has been quite a challenge.
Rebounds on free throws (with advantageous position) just weren't happening. The times it happened within about 15 seconds had me tearing out what little hair I have left.
We've certainly had lapses on the boards and our help defense aside from Kuath has quite been there yet.
I've noticed both Darryl and OMax play fantastic D for 20+ seconds.....then the shot goes up........and they watch the ball and don't block out their man. By not doing so, will only put more pressure on Kur to stop the rebounder from scoring. This will add to more fouls by Kur due to their lapses.
I hope that Oso can become more of a consistent rebounder. After the New Hampshire game with his 13 rebounds I thought that he would be at least accountable for 8, but he hasn't had 5+ after that.
I thought that, other than maybe a 5 minute stretch in the second half, our rebounding was fine. Not rebounding missed FTs is terrible, though.
