Game day! Time to see what we have.
Oh, yeah..... and must be destroyed.
Very excited to get the season going!! Let's open up the season by stomping SIUE.
Looking forward to your analysis after the game Tower.
VIOLENCE against Cougars

And if they don't destroy SIUE, it's not a good sign for the season.
Game day ... finally. That was one long m-f-in offseason.
Show us what you've got, Warrior Eagles!
We Are Marquette!!!
The spread is Marquette -20. I think if we speed them up, we can blow that out of the water. I think a 30-40 point victory is realistic. This is a team that lost to a Quincy University team that went 6-15 in D2 last year. Play fast, kill them in transition, funnel them into Kuath, and keep the accelerator on until the final buzzer.
GO WARRIORS !!!

We hammer them with zero mercy early and continuously. There is 0.0 reason this should not be an evisceration of biblical proportions and a night of MU bucket, after bucket, after bucket, after bucket, after bucket, etc, etc, etc. This will be a very unfortunate evening to be a SIEU affiliate of any kind. Let's go now!!!
Fully destroy!!!
Point differentials immaterial at this point. Am excited to see a much different coaching philosophy in play. Grew tired of Wojo's same approach to each game and the frequently uncoached responses to changing situations in each game...
More interested in learning about Shaka and seeing HIM in action....
Long season and the learning has just begun...

I can start now. Cupcakes are yummy. Don't get too excited, it was just SIUE. (Fill in the player or players name here) looked good. But I will wait until we play a real team before I pass judgement. Random pun. Word play. On to the next.
Trap game.
Coach Barone knows MU. Knows our weaknesses.
Scouts indicate his players have been working this week almost exclusively on slaps of five.

Not sure he knows the secret handshake as that came after his time.

I've always wondered where this tradition came from. Was it always a thing?
Brian Barone's dad's name is Tony Barone.
His mom is Mony Barone.

It started a long, long time ago. Shortly after scoop's creation, I think.
Just checked. The earliest I can find is from 11/19/2006. It said that Bobby Knight was evil and must be destroyed prior to a Texas Tech game.
I believe it started at rivals, and I found one slightly earlier Tower:

Maybe Mr. Nielsen can clarify, but as I understand it FS1/2 will be jumping between games. If you want to watch the full uninterrupted Marquette game you should watch via the fox sports app (already installed on my TV and authenticated with YTTV).Nevermind, I misread.

According to Mr. Nielsen's Big East TV post, FS1 will go to whiparound coverage following the 4:00 pm Mount St. Mary's-Villanova game. The MU game will air on FS2.

Other than crushing them to a flour consistency, what would be your 5 most important things to see tonight from the Warriors? We all know we're playing a cupcake but still, what will you have a keen eye on overall?

1. ball movement
2. 3 pt shooting
3. Half court defense
4. Press defense
5. How the guards rebound since we will probably play a lot of 3 and 4 guard units.
6. Bench high 5s

Good stuff. I would like to add overall poise/discipline, taking care of the rock, and shot selection. Also, I will be focused on the potential of our young guns.
When did Chicos not try to have the last word?

Last online in 2019, in 2017 he sent me a PM saying thanks, but that he was too old and crotchety to maintain silly online interactions (that were causing him aggravation). I do hope he's ok.

I thought about putting poise on my list, but we don't have a lot of vets to teach the young guys. It will be a work in progress all year.
Stoked to see how the new Warriors do under Shaka Khans tutelage. Cant get too worked up if it is a blow out considering opponents caliber. Gp Warriors.

Honestly, that is a wise decision.
