Unfortunately my Marquette spot, Jackson's, has shuttered forever.
What are some alternatives to this bar?

Jackson's would indicate Milwaukee.
I assumed MKE, but there are quite a few bars named Jackson's.
I didn't think that finding a Marquette bar would be difficult in MKE, though.

Is this really that unfortunate? The owner was nuts
I like the Brat House on Old Third World Street. Two-for-one beers and decent food.

OnTap is supposedly opening soon to replace it.

Yes still unfortunate.
Different ownerships groups as well IIRC.

Haven't been to Milwaukee since pre covid. Is Who's on third still around? I seem to always end up there post game
I'm all set to return for UCLA and couldn't be more pumped!
Yes—was there last weekend before the Widespread show.

To clarify, I'm looking for a bar in milwaukee that I can park near that had a shuttle to the game.
Jackson's had the double plus of having tons of parking and being close enough that if I missed a shuttle, I could walk.

Ahh thought they were owned by same guy. Mea culpa

Brothers
We always take the shuttle from O'Lydia's
Now that fans are good to go this year, my pregame bar will be Drink Wisconsinibly.
OLydias for the shuttle is a great choice.
Of note I parked 2 blocks off water and Juneau last weekend for Halloween. Broken windows galore. Fun times. Do not recommend.
Then again it was an overnight stay for the car.
Free downtown parking is very easy to come by if you're willing to go a couple blocks east of water. Easy 10 minute walk.
OLydias is a good shuttle option. Nearly every bar on 3rd is a decent pregame option
Anyone still go to Milwaukee Brewing Company / Glass & Griddle? Thought that was a great place for pre and post, and IIRC, offered a shuttle service to the Fiserv
Is there really ample parking in The Brewery district? Every time I've looked up there it's been packed.

The MATC structure is the best place to park up there. The larger one north of there is awful to get out of.
Doc's Commerce smokehouse has re-opened. 4th & Wells, or actually now that 4th street has been re-named, it's on the corner of Vel R. Phillips Ave. and Wells. Put some south in your mouth.

Was there on Tuesday! However only go there for the occasional Marquette game. The uhhh pricing, uhhhh, isn't kind to my wallet for an every Marquette thing.

Thank you! Price of meat is going up all over the fruited plain. Beer is still at past pricing.

Don't get me wrong, both the meats and beer are great. But, 2 dollar tall boys of coors at Jackson's was a way better budget drunk for games.
I still choose docs for the better days. Like my birthday!
Sir
I have a group of 8 going to Doc's pregame for Illinois game. Try and stop by.
