Hey hey, slow down, I only have so much content. Don't blow the load unless you're going to mop it.
Good. These poachers and anyone involved in the ivory trade are vile human beings. I'm all for animal revenge but we should have never gotten to this point. There used to be 750K-1m elephants minding their own business, raising tremendous children, and thoroughly enjoying their lives and families. They have experienced incalculable anxiety and suffering and it's not right. I've been privileged to go to Kruger and a sanctuary in Chiang Mai, Thailand as well. These rangers are heroes and are doing all they can to save these wonderful animals.
As far as evolving to go tuskless this is a sad truth in Mozambique. Rangers 10 yrs ago told us there were under 75 Bull elephants (Big Tuskers) left. It's incredibly sad and I feel strongly that more should be done to punish those involved severely. I actually think it's one of the few issues in the world both political parties agree about and we should come together and do something immediately.

Tuskless In Mozambique.
I thought this was a stretch for a sequel, but damn if Hanks and Ryan didn't pull it off!

Smoked elephant chops pair well with Pinot. I like adding a lite coating of the bourbon glaze from the Barrel Room in Fish Creek.

How was the relish tray?
Really good. Came with some Merkt's port wine cheese spread. Nothing finer.
Enjoyed elephant, but the tusks gave me heartburn.
Couldn't bring myself to try elephant fries.
Elephant ears are always popular.
The most ignominious words and discussion I've ever read and totally inexcusable. Elephants have as complex emotions as we do and tremendous integrity, intelligence, courage, and dignity.

My guess is you have never noticed that elephant's ears are shaped like a heart. Very disappointed in you Tower. They are amazing and special creatures.
I'm guessing you've never gone to a county fair or minor league baseball game.

Naaah, thats the filler our mothers used when they were running short on ground elephant.
What I prefer is ground elephant as a basis for chili. It's the same stuff Real Chili uses except I use meatier elephant and far less grease.
Animals eating other animals. The horror.
Think of the cruelty when a walleye eats a night crawler. When a young bear climbs up a tree and eats a nest full of baby Cardinals.
The horror.

Never heard of a young bear eating Cardinals. Heard there was a flock of Cardinals that hauled off and mauled a family of baby bears and sent them into a forever hibernation!

If God had not wanted us to eat animals, then why the heck did She make them so tasty?
Especially elephants.

After elephants and whales, my next favorite type of meat is exotic service animals.
Having just visited the largest aquarium in the country let me just say we need to seriously re-examine how we treat many animal species. I encourage all of you to read the article on Whale Sharks in today's NYT. RiP Trixie.

Stewardship and conservation are very important. So is correct raising of livestock.
On your elephant topic, there are parts of the world where they are scarce and need protection. There are other parts where they are a scourge, and need to be hunted. Local villages benefit greatly, and nothing goes to waste. Kinda like Nakee 'Mericans and buffalo.

Perhaps, had them all the time in Ohio. Baked just right they were slightly crispy on the edges but soft in the middle.
Johnny doesn't know what he's been missing.
