Does anyone know where the Suns are staying while they're in Milwaukee? Will they practice at the Al? It would be exciting for the Golden Eagles players to be around the finals and see it up close. Practices (are probably closed) Do they get tickets, I wonder. Will the Suns eat at Katies Diner? Jae Crowder could show them around.
Well, da ansir iz yes, 'ceptin' wen da Venison iz down too zip. Den, all bets ar off and itz each dawg four demself, hey?

I'm sure they are staying at the Pfister. Pretty much standard procedure for anyone playing the Brewers or Bucks unless things changed post COVID.
Just look for a group of dudes unnecessarily falling down and flopping around. That's them.

Yep. NBA players aren't even good athletes. They never do anything interesting or amazing. All they do is flop around, each and every one of them.

I believe they're staying in the SUPERBAR with other off topic threads.

Yes that's what I said. Keep up the great work spamming this site with your stream of consciousness
Wow- I didn't expect that response. And I didn't come on here to be insulted, either. Maybe the team will eat at Arby's everyday, like most of you did after you found your way out of the student cafeteria. Or you might explore and maybe learn something Go to utube and find the interview aired today with Mikal Bridges and Jae Crowder. Cheers
At least the Suns probably clean up after themselves when they're done eating, unlike Wojo's players.

I'm familiar with the place. I'm not lost. Google - What is decency? I just asked a couple of questions. Sheesh.

Smart move. The ghosts step their game up in the playoffs.

I hope for your sake you didn't watch any of the Euro Cup soccer recently. There were guys you'd swear would have to go immediately to the ICU, flopping and writhing, and an amazing number of miraculous recoveries from near-fatal injuries.

That's been soccer for forever.
Unfortunately, the NBA is becoming more that every year.

1. As stated the Suns are at the Journeyman Kimpton hotel
2. I'd assume during the championships that they get to practice as FiServe. Teams do use the Al, but we'd have heard about it if they were practicing there and seen some pics.
3. They do not get tickets.
4. The suns will not eat at Katies Diner. Steak houses, most likely and at the hotel and FiServe for team meals.
5. Jae probably won't be showing them around town. They will be in the hotel except for practice and dinner and the odd guy or two that check something out, know someone to meet or take a walk. Mostly in their rooms during downtime. That's the NBA way.
Take all of the above with a grain of salt. I'm just a guy speculating (hypothesizing) on the internet. But your questions have been answered, even if not correct.
ABC / ESPN is staying at the Pfister.
Jwags
The Pfister has lost a lot of the NBA teams over the past 1.5 years. Suns are at the Journeyman and pretty hectic around the hotel.

Any particular reason?
real
I park the Pfister everyday and have become friendly with the staff and I think it stems from LeBron wanting to move to the Journeyman and everyone followed. It definitely was a blow to The Pfister and the staff. MLB is still staying there and the MLB guys take good care of the staff.
I've spent time at both, but not stayed at the Journeyman. Stayed at the Pfister a long time ago.
I would guess the Journeyman has more modern amenities. It's also in a more lively location. Plus, it's not haunted as far as I know.
That you GOO. You answered all of my questions. I appreciate it.
I missed the start of the game. What kind of reception did the Milwaukee crowd give Jae Crowder when he entered the game?

Your average bucks fan didn't go to MU so I doubt it was anything special. I'd wager Kaminsky got more cheers when he entered the game.

After the way he played Buck's fans will give him a standing ovation
speaking of the Journeyman Hotel, is Kaminsky's picture up on any of their walls?

Appreciate the info. As I said, I had no clue what had happened in the time since COVID. Given the NBA's normal accommodations city to city, the Journeyman makes a lot more sense than the Pfister, but it's still a nice hotel with history and tradition.
Stayed there twice in my early 20s, for a wedding and a college conference, when both the Bucks and Brewers had opponents in town. I once rode the elevator down with some Yankees, went to dinner, came back to my room to get ready to go out and rode up with some of the Nets.

Cannot wait for tipoff tonight. This is most excited I have been for an NBA game in 20 years. Really hoping that Giannis & Co can deliver tonight.

Agreed Goose! What a great opportunity that doesn't come along very often.
Have stayed at the Pfister several times over the years (live 50 miles from downtown Milwaukee when I am in Illinois so I usually just go home). Positives are a great staff, elegant rooms and good on-site dining options. Downside is the noise, particularly on the east side of the old building. MCTS has a bus stop right in front of the side entrance to the hotel and that's irritating early in the morning or late at night.
I'm guessing LeBron was awoken by an MCTS bus one night or by a 4 a.m., dumpster call.
Kimpton Hotels are across the board. Some are really good. Some are notably average. The Journeyman looks really great and quite hip. In the "right" neighborhood for Milwaukee (though I do like the restaurant scene near and in Cathedral Square). I'm also partial to the East Side, particularly around Brady. Neither hotel is easy walking distance to Brady.
In the meantime, go Bucks!
