I don't understand Creighton. Their entire lineup is gone .Zegarowski,Jefferson and Mahoney did not specify if they were hiring agents, so I guess in theory they could come back.

No reason that he would.

None of those three are returning.  Everyone is gone from that starting lineup.

Wow, I know projections this far out are meaningless but everywhere I look there's something interesting. Northwestern is back, baby! Wisco on the outside looking in. New Orleans makes it in but not A&M. Indiana back in at a 7. Duke all the way down there at a 4. UNC a 6. Is Purdue gonna be that good this year? Can Nova survive a clash with the Catamounts in a rare V vs. V matchup?

...or maybe I'm just more excited about this season in general than I have been in a few years

Hard to say where's MU as we went 2-8 against those teams last season.

Way far out projections are predicated on the previous year's performance, the university's reputation, bias of the projector and any very high visibility recruits.

We stunk last year. Our reputation was trashed, thank you Wojo and we didn't get Bates. I doubt the projector likes us enough to stick his head out.

Rather slide under the radar and kick some ass as the season progresses.

Projections this far out are often based on past performance more than future rosters. If you gave DePaul's recent history to Creighton's coach and roster, they would not even get a mention.

Interesting question......How many right does he get from the initial "way to early" projection to the actual field......I would guess around 70%.....

Has any one done the leg work?????

Perhaps the only thing more worthless than a bracketology projection in April is Wojo as head coach.
