Dope! Any chance you could get a championship blue shirt?
Thanks! Sadly it only lets us use that color for the lightweight hoodie if that interests you, if not thanks for the compliment and go MU.
I guess there are limits to wokeness.

I was that guy. I was the logo. I believed in it so much," Denning said.
Denning says his perspective changed one day as he was standing in line at the University Book Store.
"I was just standing in line and I saw my face on these drawers. Multiple faces -- on underwear. Just shaking my head. What's going on? Because that's my face, and now people are using it for underwear," Denning said.
Suddenly for Denning, the Indian logo debate was crystallized in a question: Were these logos about having fun, or about making fun?
"It really kind of hit me that people are using us for fun. People are using us for entertainment. We're not any more than that right now," Denning said.
They look good. Gold would be another good T-shirt color.
Awesome design. Well done.
$30 for a t-shirt??? 8-)
Cool design. You should post your link on the MU Marketplace group on FB. Lots of eyeballs and fans there.
Ok. Those are slick man.
Nice shirts man. If they are high quality thread and print then yes that's how much they should about cost. Cheap shirts suck after 1 year wear and tear.

my college housemate jr and sr years was the First Warrior. He is Menomonie. To this day he's annoyed MU dropped Warriors. Wrote letters to admin and BOT's. Was never given a voice.
Nice shirt, but you do know that Woke Shaka would lecture you on why that shirt is racist?

Then, in 1981, a new mascot appeared in the form of the "First Warrior." That mascot was portrayed by a real person: Marquette student and Oneida tribe member Mark Denning. "But the racial stereotypes followed him, onto the basketball court and into the classroom," explains a recent Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article. "Worn down, he eventually stopped going to classes as a senior at the school in 1983 and then left entirely, even though he was so close to graduation."Funny how wokeness has certain limits.
This phrase is so lame. Always think of that knob on TMJ saying it during sports
Old and has worn out it's welcome
Remember the good ole days of Scoop when Chicos, et. al. complained that liberals and other "SJWs" were turning every topic poltical.
Yet here we are posting stuff about a logo THAT NO ONE IS COMPLAINING ABOUT, and one of the more prominent liberals here called "dope," yet Billy, NoLonger and Marq have to go on another rant about woke-ness.
It must be so sad to go through life like this.

No. He clearly said he was "Menominee" (yet spelled it wrong). The Menominee are an Algonquin tribe that is native to Wisconsin. The Oneida is an Iriquois tribe that was relocated to Wisconsin from the New York area in the early 1800s.

I think the logo's great. But you are being dishonest if you don't admit Shaka would not like it.

I have no idea if he would like it or not. And neither do you.
I'm more offended by crowbarring AL into it. I mean it's clever and all but jeez will we ever get over '77

Getting a little defensive, eh?
As someone who supports keeping the nickname and logo dead and buried and has taken heat for my position for a long time, I find it amusing that the hyper woke are showing they have limits to their virtue signaling, especially those who found Valpo's old mascot offensive.
Pretty sure Willie was gone around 1971, after Wounded Knee. Also pretty sure the 1st First Warrior was a guy named Clifford in 1978 or '79. I could be wrong.

I'm not offended but think its a bad idea. And this is coming from an Al era guy. It was really great to be there but then was then and now is now. if you want to focus on Shaka, don't dilute the message. Laser like focusing. Marketing 101.

Beg to differ. Sice it has already been explained that Shaka means warrior in zulu or maybe Klignon, then they should put the warrior logo on these shirts. But PC would never allow it.

Thanks man, definitely going to look into that!
Would love for someone to design something with the 3 principles Shaka highlighted in his presser:
Relationships
Growth
Victory

Why the hell should we "ever get over 77"?
Because it was 2 generations ago. It was before Shaka was even born. Does any other school worship at the altar of a decades-earlier coach as much as Marquette does?
I am as a big a fan as anyone of Al, but it's time to look forward.

Facts. Even more cringe than the applause that happened after Shaka said he was born in '77.

If so, have you ever told a Bears fan to give up 85?
