As you can see in the header above .. I've put up a 600 wide shot of the poster they gave out last night.
Very cool collection of uniforms!
For the wallpaper inclined, I've attached two other images, 1280 and 1068 wide.
nice! thanks!!
What was with the late '60s/'70s? It seems like they had new uni's almost every year--was that something Al wanted?
Al often had the players design the uniforms. Marquette was known for setting uniform trends!
any idea if these are available for purchase?
NYWarrior, et al .. I've been collecting extra posters at games .. two weeks from now, they'll put out the team poster, making 3 posters available.
At that time, I'll put out a message about getting the posters in the mail to whoever wants 'em .. I think the postage will be like $4 for a tube shipper.
More info to come later.

I believe that Bo Ellis even designed the Band uniforms when he was playing. I'll try to find a picture, blue and gold stripped pants!
Hilltopper -- I'd love to get my hands on one of those as well. Those are very nice posters.
If the team had to wear any one of the uni's from the 1970's or older, which one would you want it to be? I'm thinking my vote would go for the 1969 version.
I'd definitely go with the 1969 version.
It looks like our recent jerseys have been in the line of the 1940's version.
i would have to say a tie between 68 and 69
no way could we ever get the 77 ones back since it has that baby blue reminds to much of ucla
here is my questiond does mu have any alternate jersey that they plan on wearing this year.
I'd love to buy 3 of them!!! =)
Please email me!
I do wish we'd do something more creative with our current jerseys. Something to get them banned by the NCAA.

Maybe having Brand Wade will allow more latitude with the design. But I'm sure with Converse owned by Nike, Wade banking future success on this business venture, and the Big East/NCAA gestapos waiting with their stamps in hand, don't expect anything TOO radical (i.e., bumblebee jersey resurgence).
But a retro jersey nights (two a season) should ALWAYS be on the NCAA schedule for MU!
