"To care is to wonder why Wojo, at least for the moment, remains Marquette's coach."
Tom was most recently a sports columnist for the Boston Herald following roles as the sports editor and columnist for the Lawrence Journal-World, and a sports columnist for the New York Post.
At this point, I think it's just Dodds, Lovell, & Scholl keeping him employed.

Scholl is the wild card for me. He wasn't here when Wojo was hired and is kind of the outsider in the Athletic Department compared a lot of long-time employees.
Cracked sidewalks throwing haymakers this week.
The article is ANOTHER
( should be) devastating blow to WOJO and his time at MU. I really still get the feeling that Lovell and Scholl are clueless.
Anyone know if the Admin is paying attention? Anyone have some insight?
I thought this article was pretty elementary and tilled no new ground. More like piling on than anything.
I don't think Scholl has a big role in this. It is President Lovell, the BOT and select donors.
Either MU has their candidate in mind and will finalize when it's right for that coach (Gates, Moser, etc) or they haven't lined up the donor(s) to cover the buy out. And if it is the latter, that's some serious malpractice on Lovell's part.

Scholl must have felt some serious heat on his balls to pull the plug. Guess balls take longer to develop on some people.
