Title: RIP Yaphet Kotto

Terrific actor passed away at 81.

He often deserved bigger roles than he was given. Had supporting roles in "Brubaker" "Midnight Run"  James Bond etc...but was well known for his role as Al "G" Giardello on the television series "Homicide: Life on the Streets," which was based on David Simon's book, in Baltimore. It was the show before "The Wire." It's difficult to find but worth a watch.

Absolutely. One of the funnier movies of its time.
