Honestly turning games into full slop like this one, might be the recipe.

Whats the saying?? "Never argue with an idiot, they will just bring you down to their level and beat you with experience".

Might be the same thing but with sloppy basketball. We sure as hell have the experience and X looks frazzled. Cant even dribble.

Our bigs have had a rough half.  If  I was Wojo I would kindly tell then to survey the floor and calm the hell down once they get the rock. If a double comes, move the ball.  If not?  CALM DOWN, take your time and get to a comfortable spot.  There is zero reason they should have this much trouble.

The fact we are up 7 and Theo, Justin, Dawson are all playing like they are Andrew Rowsey's size is at least a positive.

The negative would be all 3 are playing like that.

Good grief, the turnovers suck again.  Plus Lewis dunk miss is that 9?
Lewis barking at people on bench, should look in mirror.  Probably worst five minutes of his career.

Fremantle with two fouls, Carter with four fouls. Get to Garcia low please coach.  Why is he chucking up threes with major foul issues, why?....X has big problems if Fremantle gets three.  One guy left on bench.  I don't get it, even announcers saying why isn't Garcia down low.

Glad have lead, but should be substantial. Thank you Greg Elliott.

The last few games when we double a player on defense we are swarming him.  Fir last last 6 years we doubled and dropped off a guy just when we had them trapped.  I like this better.   Yes. Greg and Jamal flying high.  Like it.  Must be able to adjust second half to what they will do

I think that was shot clock management. Taking a wide open 3 with 51 sec (or so), ensures that MU would have one more possession. I think it was a good shot; he just missed it.

Great points nyg.  I wish our big would just get position and slow down once they get the rock.  Also, Carton is drawing 3 guys quite often.  If he doesn't have the vertical drive get rid of the ball and find the open man on the swing.

I don't like the high hedge.  Our big can't protect the paint and is staying there for an eternity.  Just play straight up, they're getting easy opportunities.

Forced shot by Koby leads to an uncontested dunk on the other end. 4-point swing right there.

Carton is going to have to make two plays down the stretch.  Similar to the Whisky game

No, his terribly selfish shot just handed them 2 pts.

Next possession the ball sticks and we dont even get a shot off. Greg is better and it isnt close.

I would get Elliott on the floor.  Still dumbfounded by Garcia launching threes on critical possessions.

He had one bad possession. And Koby is 100x better at the defensive end.

I prefer Greg's game for sure but Koby had been totally fine.

Pretty sure that was off of Cain.

Glad we won 4 out of our last 5. Not a good season at all but at least there was no late season collapse!

Ok, now the refs are fine????

Glad that Kunkel shot went down and out, whew.
Give it to Kunkel though, was talking and laughing with Theo at end.

Nice win, even ugly second half.  Congrats seniors

That's four out of last five, no real collapse like last few years.

No, that was clearly off Cain. They missed calls all night, even after a clear replay.

It obviously didn't matter, but why was Symir in on that last inbounds play where Xavier needed to foul? Seems pretty elementary that you would want your best foul shooters in the game....

Yes. Sometimes you wonder.   But Koby missed the front end and I think he might be our best free throw shooter. At least he was.

It was a toss-up.  I saw it re-direct off the shoulder, ball didn't change direction after the elbow.  But, I'm, surprised they reversed it.  I'll take it.

Do you hear Jess Settles say something like "Theo is the best passing big he's seen in the country".  :)

Well Theo has almost doubled his assists per game this year, massively improved his FT shooting, and has shot the 3 with deadly accuracy. Some NBA team is going to have a pretty nifty 6-9 PG.

Yeah, that announcer was spewing weird hyperbole all night that anyone that had watched more than one half of an MU game knew was wildly inaccurate.

Yep, it was clearly the announcers first MU game because they were praising Wojo as well.  Theo has had 2 passes this season that did not end up in turnovers and both were today... and the announcer was raving.  Hilarious.

Bob Brainerd is a local guy.  He's done plenty of MU games on lesser broadcasts before.  But Settles was horrific.  He sounded like he was trying to angle for an assistant gig with Wojo.

Now your hyperbole is going in the other direction. Theo's passing has been much improved this year--he's got more assists than Jamal, Greg, or Dawson this year.

Most of his TO's are offensive fouls or getting the ball stripped when attempting to post up.
