It is great news, and should be great for the players. But there's a bit of wishful thinking in allocating a majority of tickets to students, and then mandating that they "remain seated at all times while they are at their seats." Good luck with that....
Good. It'll give some fans the chance to boo
These two rules have me scratching my head.
Fans not permitted to bring bags. Items larger than 4"x6"x1" not permitted
Fans must remain seated at all times while they are at their seats
How do either of these prevent the spread of covid?
Can we boo if we keep our masks on?
I heard from some who have went to a Bucks game. The ushers are very hard core. One women had food on her lap getting ready to eat and the usher told them to put the mask on. :o

My thought would be for the bags would mean there wouldn't be a build up at the entrance as security checks bags. That's definitely a bottleneck of Fiserv. Along with men's bathrooms.

Good. They should be hardcore. If you want nice things, then do the things necessary to make the nice things possible.

Yes. We need to make sure we have a fan there holding the athletic department accountable and making sure they see the big picture. Cannot forget all of Wojo's piss poorness by tunnel visioning their win at UNC.
They should give the tickets to MU alumni who are medical professionals that have been vaccinated. It'd be a great gesture and you wouldn't need nearly as many intense regulations
Or even students in PA Nursing PT etc who have been vaccinated for clinical. Essentially I think there's a way it could get done to be a semi normal game day experience

Sure. Yet, how do you eat with your mask on?

Maybe they didn't see the food. Maybe she had been sitting without taking a bite for five minutes. I'd rather the ushers error on the side of caution in this case.

I'm glad you didn't use teal because you honestly nailed it.

Yep, maybe. I get it. The ushers are just doing there job. So, we cut them some slack.
I wonder if I can jump ahead of the picking order as I got vaccinated with my 2nd shot on Feb. 2. ;D
Hopefully they allow the band, cheerleaders and dance team to participate. Those kids got the shaft, too.

I don't think those groups ever formed this year. The last update for Cheer and Dance was an announcement about Fall 2020 tryouts, and the pep band suspended all operations for the fall.

Uhh...is anyone else disturbed that Fluffy BM is getting updates for the Cheer and Dance Squad?

In Michigan the governor ordered smokers to keep their masks on at all times

Is food being served / are you allowed to bring food in? That may have been the issue.

For the Bucks games, you order your food on the Bucks App. Then, you get a text when and where to pick up your order. You must eat at your seat.

as long as the ushers don't go Theo and tell fans to stfu, should be just an incredibly fun time for all 🙄
Nice!

Ya gotta start somewhere, right? MU just aped what the Bucks
got the city to agree to. Since there's only the one home game left, they can't build on it like the Bucks will.
The Brewers are looking for approval for 35% for Opening Day. If they get that approved, they'll put in their plan to gradually increase the capacity as time goes on.

You always could. I did. An online order to an Ace hardware a couple of miles from my house. Walk in with your order #, wait 3 minutes, get your gardening supplies, take them home.
Yes, large Walmart/Target/Meijer stores had their garden departments closed in order to attempt to limit the number of customers in the building and therefore focus on the grocery part of their store.
It is a flat out lie to say you couldn't get garden supplies. You just had to find a different method. But it is an easy agenda pushing shorthand
