Greg
Jamal
Theo
JC
Jamal easy
Great games by Theo and Jamal, but our new starter was the spark, especially early when we opened it up. Good work, Greg.
Greg Elliott
Double /Double trumps everything
Greg set the tone early.
Greg
Definitely Greg.
Cain.
Greg
Cain.
Close call. Good thing Rocky has 10 days between games.

Jamal seemed to come up with every loose ball. 14/14 and no turnovers is clearly SOTG worthy.
HM to Greg & Theo. The entire 2017 recruiting class coming up big.

I agree with all these sentiments. I'll add one more for Cain. He was asked to come off the bench, he didn't sulk, didn't complain, just put up 14/14.
Tie Greg And Jamal Honorable Mention Theo
Cain also had 2 assists.
Cain
My feeling as I watched the game was Theo. But as I thought about it more, I would choose a Greg/Jamal combo if I could a combo.
But I know there ain't no effen combos for something as prestigious as SotG ... so I have to choose one.
Mr. Jamal Cain.
He had been struggling pretty mightily but he was part of the solution tonight, and the box score shows it too.

I voted Greg but KPom agrees on JC. Hang the Lenten Lights!

What a shame that JC never developed his handles. Could have been a tremendous MU player In the Mikail Bridges mold.

1. Greg
2. Theo

Appreciate what Greg did and happy for him. But 14 and 14 can't be ignored.
Gregory. Career high. Was the energy bunny.
To me its Greg. This team needed something during this stretch, and he provided and it was not in the Stats but things you can feel, but can not Measure.
Cain over Elliott by a nose.

Compelling argument, LC.

You nailed it, way too much emphasis on statistics. Did I witness leadership on the court tonight rather than from the cheering bench? GREG for his leadership.
SUGAR! [CAIN]
really loved Greg however

This is probably not the ideal topic to express appreciation for the recruiting class lead by Theo, but the posts from Warrior Hal and TAMU from last night open the door. Injuries have figured a great deal into this class (especially Ike Eke), but over the course of four years these not so highly rated recruits have improved to the extent that they are even mentioned for Stud of the Game. Not to take away from their accomplishments, but there have been times over the years that each player was probably judged as a turnover waiting to happen. Their college careers are not over, but their progress deserves recognition.
Hopefully in the future, whoever is the coach, the staff can coach any less than 5* recruits to be fully functional members of the team by the beginning of their junior year. (Maybe Symir could be an example if he can develop an average outside shot.)
Back on topic, while recognizing both Greg's and Jamal's overall play, I vote for Cain because he seemed to have a slightly better overall game.

Nicely said. Whatever you want to say about the abilities and record of Greg, Jamal and Theo, one thing is for sure, they compete.
And they have improved.

The Toejam and Earl one makes me smile. Man, if you gave kids now access to a game like that, they would be like what the heck was wrong with kids back then.
