He can't be on the floor against this team. John continually sags to the middle, and Robinson-Earl is just launching practice threes.
MU cut it to 9 and Jay found the weak spot.
Doubling off JRE is the right call. Gotta pick your poison with Nova. JRE a 27% 3 point shooter. Best chance to beat Nova is to make him a shooter instead of a cutter. Unfortunately, he's making them.
Elliott is the one who has no business on the floor tonight. He got crossed up by Swider, the slowest guy in the big east.
And the options are...?

He's not a 27% shooter in an empty gym. Having a slow, big guy in the game against a perimeter oriented team with 5 skilled players on the perimeter is never the right call. By the time Wojo took Theo out, the game was over.

Seems to happen a lot to us with poor to average shooters. Maybe we're sagging too much?

Yeah, I have a hard time believing he shoots 27% completely wide open.

I would say go small, defend the perimeter, and play with an ounce of pride. But, that doesn't seem to be happening with Theo out of the game either. Unfortunately, Wojo is out of answers, and should be out of time. Abysmal.
We can't guard them with Theo on the floor. And we also can't take advantage of Theo enough inside. But Tower is right, we don't have a lot of options. Akanno and Perez are clearly not ready and Torrence and Elliott haven't improved on both ends of the floor.

Without Oso and Justin, Nada.
We tried smaller ball with Dex, José and others, but they weren't the answer.
The bench last night was 4 guys between 6'3 and 6'5. First big off the bench was Perez. Two unused scholarships. No switchables.

Which lineup would you have used, and for how long?
