I don't have that stat, I'm not sure anyone tracks it. Be we rank 208th in offensive rebounding percentage allowed. It's an area of weakness but not as much of one as you might think. Almost every team in the big east ranks poorly in this category,  because most of the big east ranks highly in offensive rebounding %.... including Marquette (92nd)

Look up 2nd Chance points. It's basically points off offensive rebounds.

Thank you for defining second chance points. Are points off turnovers the number of points scored coming off of turning the opponent over?

Before tonight, MU had 44 putback attempts. They made 62% of them at the rim and 50% on 2 pt jumpers. A putback is defined as an offensive rebound shot within 4 seconds.

Oh, and they are about middle of the pack.

Ty Dr.B.  But I would imagine they are below average in points scored on turns and points allowed on turns?

I'm aware of what second chance points are. I just honestly don't know if there is a service that tracks them at the college level.

The box score services do. I used Hoop Math for this question.

And I am moving more and more to Haslam instead of Pomeroy, especially toward the end of the season. Simply for the reason that play by play data provides more sample size and I find it a better predictor with more depth. Pomeroy uses aggregated game data and a lot of indexing and it's better earlier in the season.

TRank has a mixture too but they don't use the possession data to compile their rankings, just to report on it.
