Off the top of my head:
Wade
Thompson
Meminger
Kojis
Lee
Tatum
Rivers??
I'm an old guy, but... Markus, the first DJ, Jerel, Wes, David Boone, Vander, etc.
You forgot Markus.
Since 2003-
Wade
Markus
Diener
DJO
Vander
Dominic James
Jerel McNeal
My bad on Howard. How good was Kojis?

I d probably take Wes over Vander because of his overall resume.

I'd agree if you meant overall career resume, clearly Wes there.
MU career resume I'd still take Vander. I didn't consider Wes because I thought he was 6'5/6'6 but I'd still go Van if you meant at the collegiate level

Fair enough. V did have an epic three game stretch in 2013 tournament.
Is it the off season?
Is this what you guys do on Dodds board?

Why the hostility? I was just thinking about cool MU players.

I saw Kojis play several times in the Pros. He had incredibly broad shoulders and was a very physical player who could score and rebound . No three point back then so he did a lot of his work at mid and short range
Just to give you an idea of how talented he was, Kojis dunked on Wilt Chamberlin. Not many guys his size would even try that.

Cool.....what kind of elevation are we talking about here? Kojis was listed at 6'2.
Ask the US Olympic basketball team how good Butch Lee was.....
Mugs you really forgot Marcus? That was 11 months ago! This question should perhaps be 6' 1" or 2".
Lloyd Walton was a great PG.

I don't want to be accused of diminutive bias. But if we're going the 6'0 and under route whatcha got?
Howard
Hutch
Rowsey
Miller
Doninic
Oh...was Lee 6"0?
Oooops. If Lee and Meminger were 6'0:
Lee
Meminger
Dominic
Howard
Hutch

Wasn't Lazar 6'5? He's on the list over Vander or DJO

Not sure if they're top 7, but Diener and Hutchins need to at the least be in the conversation.
How about Tony Smith
How about Mandy Johnson? The pride of Jersey City.
Those of us in the Class of '82 got to see two stars from this group: Sam Worthen our first two years; and Rivers our third and fourth.
That Sam was pretty underrated is confirmed by this thread -- not a single mention of him so far even though he was a hell of a college player for 2 years (17 ppg, 7apg, 4rpg as a senior) and ended up playing 2 years in the NBA.
Worthen would be in my top 11 along with Wade, Lee, Meminger, Thompson, Diener, Howard, Tatum, McNeal, Rivers and Tony Smith.
Hey ... if Muggsy can choose an arbitrary number like 7, I can choose 11. Yo 11!

I think Don was closer to 6-5 . I saw him at the basketball alumni event a few years back and he was still very robust looking .
All the love to Cordell Henry. Guy could hoop
I remember when I was little kid and I hooped with my uncle at Helfaer....I was like 8 or 9 so this was 1992 I believe. I don't think he ever wound up playing at MU even for a game but does the name Keith Stewart ring any bells? I think he played at Messmer. Anyway, he was balling on the court next to us against some other good players but not MU team guys. He must have been 5'9/10. He snagged an offensive reb in traffic, went back up vertically, and threw it down with prime-time force and power over a big guy. There was a whoa around the gym. Let's just say the kid could get up.

Wiki lists him at 6'3. But I assume you are right Herman and they are incorrect.

Kojis is way up there. Great rebounder and scorer for MU. He was a stud.

I wonder what Dean Smith was thinking when he realized he passed up on Butch Lee.

..Just sayin.

Keith Stewart started at Purdue and transferred to MU, but then either played little or none at MU before being kicked off the team IIRC.
