Sorry, got confused about who the opponent is.
Destroy them!
Sadly, I didn't even know there was a game today.
Can't remember the last time there was a Gameday that I overlooked, I'm not sure it's ever happened in nearly 20 years.
Thanks for the reminder, I'll tune in.
St John himself wasn't evil but the Red Storm are, at least for today. Lets get that dub

Don't feel to bad. Game was scheduled earlier this week.
We have to be near perfect for an NCAA birth. The chances are less than 2%. A loss today would move our chances to 0.0%. A half-assed, going through the motions performance, would upset MU favs to Defcon 1 levels. It may prompt an immediate purge.
Yes—don't upset MU fans.
Have fun and enjoy the game. Season will be over soon and nothing left to do but beoch till next season.
Marquette can afford two more regular season losses to have a chance at the tourney. And a loss today will not cause an immediate purge. Wojo will be our coach next season barring off the court scandal or Wojo deciding to leave on his own. Not saying it's right, just reality

It's hard to believe we can even get to 10 wins if we don't take care of business today. Just my opinion.

I know the circumstances are different, but I am getting the same vibe when Buzz left. The team, coach just seem to be going through the motions. Just a gut feeling, but probably wrong.
I don't think they are going through the motions at all.

...and on the Flagship channel; wonder what the ratings will be.
Nope. Not an effort issue.

Do you think 90-95% of our issues is coaching? Having watched all the BEast teams numerous times I think we arguably have the 3rd best overall talent in the league, at worst top 5.
Muggsy, I told you on the other board before the season that I thought this was a .500 team based on talent and experience.
That Wojo has never made a team more than the sum of its parts doesn't help.

Assuming they play all the games, I agree. They need to win 3 more than they lose. 6-2 would do it, but 4-1, 5-2, or 6-3 (if they add) would all probably suffice.

I agree with your last sentence. It also doesn't help that our three Seniors are very inconsistent despite having some strong performances. I don't think Wojo does a very good job developing players Tower. That's not to say guys haven't gotten better at all, but not to the level of their overall potential.
I think we're a .500 team because of a total lack of cohesion on both ends of the floor and the inability to get good shots down the stretch. Our fundamentals also suck for lack of a better word, and keep in mind we have experienced players making very poor decisions and kicking the ball away constantly.

He does seem less enthusiastic this season. That could be due to numerous reasons though.
Buzz had equal and some would say better options than MU because of his success. His name was out there all the time before he left.
Wojo has neither.
just hoping for a good game . will be mangeing on Wingstop and some Alesmith
