We have the first Cracked Sidewalks S-Curve of the year. What does Marquette need to do to get into the field? It might be more about who they beat than how many wins they accumulate, especially in a down Big East and the potential of cancelled games which means fewer opportunities against teams that will be in the field.

U of A and Oklahoma State not eligible, so that'd move MU up to the last team in.

Alabama is on probation, but doesn't seem to have received any postseason ban. Oklahoma State actually is eligible. Their postseason ban appeal means they are eligible until the case is resolved.

Arizona is, good catch. I'll fix that on my next update.
Evening bump
In The Athletic's most recent bracket (published today), Kentucky and Duke are out. Indiana and Florida are last 4 in. Michigan State is a 10.
Also out: Syracuse, Maryland, Northwestern, Loyola ... and, yes, Marquette. We're not even among last 4 out or next 4 out.
Got some work to do!

Kentucky isn't close, in my opinion. Anyone that has Duke in (cough, Lunardi, cough) only has them there because of name recognition. There is nothing on their resume that warrants inclusion and if a program like Washington State, Boston College, or DePaul had that resume they wouldn't be close to the field.
