I think my most hated Badgers are Micah Potter and Trevor Anderson. Potter thinks he's hot sh!t despite not having accomplished anything at the college level, and follows the Robert Jackson philosophy of, "get ball, shoot ball, no matter what." Anderson is a grade A tool in the mold of Zack Showalter. A complete scrub who, again, thinks he's hot sh!t.

I think I'm going to skip it. We have my wife's birthday to celebrate and back when we were dating, I made the mistake of celebrating early in the evening so we could make a 7:30 p.m., start at the Arena.

At the risk of sounding pollyannish, I think there's a ton of interesting dynamics to tonight. From a sentimental standpoint, see Goose's post.
From a basketball standpoint, we're all disappointed about the second half vs OK St., and its turned us all a little pessimistic. But what does Vegas know that we don't? And this team is a good, fun mix of raw young talent and steady if unspectacular veterans. I know a lot of the scoopiverse's opinion is made up about Wojo, but this team's arc is custom made to be a status report on where Wojo is and is going as a coach. No All American to live or die by, no Hausergate. Just developing a young core while relying on veterans that Wojo also brought in. Can he get this team to improve, gel, and form an identity? If this team doesn't trend upward with its high ceiling young talent, its difficult for even the staunchest projos ::sheepisly raises hand:: to be optimistic about future on court results.

It seems like every season has this moment. Most recent comparison, Buzz had some good teams and so has Wojo, but what gave Buzz a lot of slack (and credit) were 2 sweet 16's and an elite 8. Had Wojo taken at least one team to a sweet 16, that in many people'e eyes, mine included would be willing to be more patient. Many fans I'm sure are tired of the "potential" then have a couple good wins only to underacheive overall in the end. I am hoping at some point this season's team "clicks". I'm williing to wait and see, but will get grumpier as the season goes along if we aren't playing competitive ball and for a top half BE, NCAA tourney bid. That said, I'm looking forward to being pleasantly surprised tonight.
