Title: [Cracked Sidewalks] DePaul Preview
Post by: brewcity77 on November 20, 2020, 06:14:28 AM
DePaul is a team transitioning again, losing two of their top three scorers and trying to figure out how to fit four transfers into the rotation. Here's a look at the Blue Demons:

DePaul lost a lot of games in the last two minutes. The games I watched basically fell on Charlie Moore's play. He tried to do it all himself in the last two minutes. Somewhat the same problem MU had with Markus trying to do it all.

Said it a few times, this year and next I expect we're going to start to see a different Depaul. They collapsed in conference but the calendar year of 2019 had a great record and their players are starting to realize they can actually win games.

I think the relationship between Leitao and Peevy will be key. Leitao is showing flashes of results & the 2021 recruiting class helps his case, but might Peevy already have a replacement in mind? That relationship will likely determine if they start to turn the corner in a year or if it takes 3-4 more.
