Another year, another first place projection for Villanova. The only difference between this year and others is just how much better on paper the Wildcats are than everyone else in the league.

Afternoon bump.
Nova is interesting this season. Their top 4 players (Gillespie, Moore, Samuels, JRE) are the best group of 4 in the conference by far. None of their options for 5 starter are that impressive to me, nor is their bench (not that Nova really uses a bench). Knowing Wright, he'll get one of Swider/Daniels/Dixon to make a huge jump.

Swider being in the system gave him the edge when I wrote this, but I think Daniels might break out and surprise people. I would include Antoine in that list if he can get healthy, but considering his history the past year, that feels like a big if.
I see Nova as one of the best teams in the league along side Creighton. I don't see them as far and away the best though. They have the best coach so I would rank them 1st.
Gameday bump: 'Nova keeps chugging along and brings another top team to the Fiserv as Marquette looks for their third top-10 scalp in the month of January.

Well, December. But, I do get your desire to leave 2020 behind. ;)
