Question:
Do we put a banner up for the TBT win?
Option 1: Yes

Option 2: No
votes: 54
Just curious as to everyone's thoughts on this topic.
That was a HELLUVA game!
I hope the banner question is a joke, but honoring these guys at halftime
Would be nice
Put the trophy and a banner in the Al. Not at the Fiserv.
I'm wondering about that trophy. Does it get a place in the AL? Or does it go up at Joe Chapman's basketball academy?

Yep! Fun stuff in a time of crud...
No.
These guys represented MU very well they deserve to have the Trophy and Banner at The Al.

Yup as to the trophy being displayed at The Al. Good place for it. As for a banner, maybe but not for long.

Agree. What a great reflection on our program.
Next question: Should DJO get a cut of the prize?
Fun to watch some good ball. Big Diener fan and loved watching all the guys get the W.
Yes. In the Al.
The team talks about what a family Marquette is. A banner would represent what you can do with the basketball family after graduation.
Crean is probably hanging a banner in his living room.
Definitely in the AL and honorary degrees for Cook, Charlo, and Jarvis.

Agree i would be more than happy and accepting of a little glass cubicle in thE Al for tge TBT title similar to the others dedicated to great teams
Hang it for a year at the, what's it's name?
Then the Al.
If "The Gym" was still around that's definitely where the trophy and banner should hang.

Love this idea. Helps foster the idea that playing at MU is not just a four year thing, it's a program and community a player will be a part of long after their time at MU.

Something at the Al plus a halftime honor at a game - both are good ideas.

Agreed. Banner, no. Halftime celebration, sure why not.
EDIT: Ok after reading other responses, I like the idea of hanging a banner and a spot for the trophy at the AL. Definitely not at the Fiserv though.

Now we need to win a TBT without non-MU players.

Not in a hurry to kick those guys off the team. Cook has played for three years and represented us well. I will leave it to the coach and GM to construct the team.

I agree. Cook was essential in winning yesterday, Charlo played his role well, and Williams was much more effective than I thought he'd be. He was pretty valuable, especially defensively. Helps that both Cook and Williams are Milwaukee guys so they've had existing relationships with some of the other dudes.

Agree with all this. Cook is a fantastic 3rd or 4th scoring option and is solid on the boards Charlo and Williams were really valuable in their roles.

Jarvis Williams was really sneaky good. Made a lot of important plays in the TBT. Was never a negative.

...and even if you didn't spend anytime at MU....you're still part of the MU community. Yeah! Seriously, nice W. Happy all the guys got a big check. Does anyone know if Charlo, Cook and Williams were recruited by MU? I believe all are Milwaukee guys.
Anyone know the assistant coach name?? Its on the tip of my tongue but I can't think of it

Tell your boy Wojo to start churning out talent then.....
Pipeline is a tad dry since he's taken over.
They had Banners Up in Columbus
There should be banners up in Dayton where I believe the next TBT will be held.
2014 Notre Dame
2015 Overseas Elite
2016 Overseas Elite
2017 Overseas Elite
2018 Overseas Elite
2019 Ohio State
2020 Marquette
Agree Banner and Trophy at The AL

He's not taking my calls anymore after I dropped my season tickets two years ago.
