Title: Tonight should settle a few things
Post by: CTWarrior on February 04, 2008, 07:24:42 AM
Up until the Cincy game the prevailing theory about us was that we were road dogs, but I think our blowout losses at UConn and Louisville had more to do with the type of opponent we were playing than the location of the game.  Teams that can match our quickness and intensity with the added bonus of quick interior size are a very tough match-up for us.  Cincy lacked the interior size/presence to give us trouble and I think they are tailor made for us.  If we win tonight, regardless of margin, I rethink everything.  Louisville is exactly the type of team I think we have a very difficult time beating, regardless of locale.   I'm both apprehensive and excited about tonight.  It is going to be the biggest and most telling game of the season so far, IMO.

We absolutely have to be able to hit outside shots tonight.  We were 0-12 against them last time.  If we can push the ball and hit a decent percentage from the outside, tonight will be much more of a game than @UL, and hopefully, a W.

Well, that's settled.  We can't handle size and quickness.
