Am I the only one realizing that some of these calls are 3-4 seconds after the foul occurred.
DePaul shoots, bounces off backboard. Then rim. Then we rebound and turn up court WHISTLE!!!!!! FOUL!!!
Like either it goes in, or they call a foul. It's bullshwa
You are 100% correct. Multiple times they've waited to see the result of a play before calling a foul, which is ridiculous. If it's a foul it's a foul no matter whether a shot is made or the ball is lost or not.
I'll say this once more for the uneducated.
A delayed whistle is fine. And much preferred then a ref with a quick whistle. Let the ref process what he saw and call it.

That's an opinion and has nothing to do with being educated.

You can share your thoughts without being an arrogant twit. But I realize that may be asking too much.

It's actually straight from the 1st day of referee training.

Refs bad both ways. Marquette benefited just as much or more from bad calls

That's laughable. They shot 16 more FTs, they got a a terrible charge and a mediocre charge on Markus and then a blatant charge called a block to win the game. And their grabbing pushing defensive strategy was rewarded all game until late. If they called it properly, MU should have shot 40 FTs

Like I said refs bad both ways look at it objectively. Marcus hit a lot of free throws on Ticky tack calls.

Take away every FT that Markus took and then still outshot MU by 3 FTs. Charlie Moore got the biggest hero whistle I've ever seen. Both ends of the floor with his Brad Davidson act

The number of free throws shot by one team isn't an indicator of bad refs. The refs had nothing to do with this loss, as bad as they were.
