Great second half! Really good MU contingent. More to come later. WE ARE MARQUETTE!

Hey Dan!   Try the chili and see how it compares!

A little more...

Pretty good contingent of MU fans there...just a hair under 1K in my mind.  Maybe a little more with the Richmond group, but definitely extremely loud towards the end.

The UC ticket office sucks...lost my phone order from a month ago.  But we got upgraded to lower bowl, right next to the Cincy student section.  Got pelted with a few beers, t-shirts, food wrappers, especially after MU went on their run by a few of them.  Overall, though, a pretty good group of fans; got ourselves invited to a frat party on campus tonight (which we politely declined).

Got to talk with Chad Bolser at the half in line for the restroom...great guy.  Said Dom's wrist is close to 100% according to his mom (although numbers may not have indicated it today).  Also had a few nice words with Bill Cords (he was pacing around behind the stands for most of the game)

PHENOMINIAL effort today; Crean with probably the best coaching move of the year putting Christopherson in during the first half.  Ousmane and Lazar brought the thunder big-time today.  Once Ousmane gets some rythum on the floor and stays on his feet defensively to avoid foul trouble, he's going to put up numbers.  Definitely should be starting the rest of the way.  And Lazar...best use of the glass by an MU player since Wade.

Officiating was wretchedly bad both ways; thank God it didn't impact the game all that much.

And Skyline is tonight's dinner fare, for sure.

I'll add a few points quick-

1. When Ous is at his best is when he is not thinking. When he catches on the block he starts to think, becomes too methodical, and doesn't do well. He was fluid and when he is running and moving like today, he's by far at his best.

2. Christopherson's three was the turning point. For some reason that killed Cincy's momentum, but we won't see much more of that until he proves he can stay in front of his man on defense. He got torched a couple times but was bailed out by a miss.

3. The Shoe is a pretty decent arena, but the space is not effectively utilized at all. If they filled in the corners that place would be a pit. Their crowd was good, but sitting right next to the students... they were quiet.

4. Heard three different "WE ARE MARQUETTE" chants at the end of the game... props to the guys in the upper deck.

5. Louisville must die.

Cincy had a TON of open 3 point attempts.  If SC gets knicked for "getting torched", there were a few veterans who were responsible for the bulk of those wide open 3s.  (fortunately, most missed.)
